I sure hope it means that something big is in the works. Whether it's "soon" or not is another matter. I'll take "something big" even if we have to wait for it. "Serious biz" does give me hope! |

I was actually referring to the Rick Rubin quote about the correlation between an artist's patience and the quality of their work I have no idea what the "serious biz" is referring to lol. |

Haha! I have to admit I sure did jump to conclusions. I read a lot more into "serious biz" than I should have. Always wishful thinking! I still hope that there is something in the works that we can look forward to. As a matter of fact, he said so the other day.

Brandi Carlile received Grammy nominations in several different genres. That sure increases her chances and I hope she gets one or some of them. Best Americana Album/Best American Roots Song/Best Rock Song/Best Rock Performance/Album of the Year/Record of the Year. And Beyonce did get her way and got several nominations in dance/electronica as well as R&B and other areas (she has the most nominations). She competes with Brandi in Album of the Year and Record of the Year. Hats off to their teams for getting them as many chances as possible and not worrying about pop.
Unfortunately Darren Criss did not get a nomination for his Christmas album in The Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album featuring Adam on one song. But Kelly Clarkson got one in that category for her Christmas Album.
