OMG! Just caught up! watched the performance last night in SD. and im still have a bert hangover. went to watch the HD DVR'd version this morning, and it cut off at the end #fail :( Thank goodness for the interwebs!
I got a question for ya'll! I know most people will post videos on You tube but then they will get taken down. Why not use Vimeo? They don't take videos down right away. is it cuz people from other countries cant view Vimeo?
Thanks.

Can I join the speculation about the matching tats? :D IMHO Adam has said again and again that he's a romantic, and I think there's enough evidence that Sauli is similar. No way on earth would they tat something on themselves that is silly or that is straightforward (like the mid-Western or whatever usage of the oof-da expression). Nor do I think it has anything to do with drinking. It's not like they're recovering alcoholics or anything like that-- they simply decided to focus on being healthy for a month. And I also don't think that it has anything to do with the "incident" in Finland-- why would they want to permanently etch a reminder of a low point in their lives on their skin? My theory is that it's an acronym. Either a phrase that is meaningful to them, or (very likely) some cheesy song lyrics. Maybe from a song that was playing when they first said they loved each other, idk. That seems so much more likely considering the type of people they are, so I'm sticking with that Disclaimer: YMMV, JMHO, etc, etc.

That was a stunning performance! I don't think Adam has ever sounded (or looked) better. And the band, besides sounding great, just has the coolest vibe ever. I am SO excited! I've probably watched the video twenty times.

Unless I hear from Adam that he has some type of alcohol addiction problem, I feel uncomfortable with presuming or even speculating that he has any type of problem in this area. Not taking sides here but feel compelled to remind us all that one can certainly decide to stop drinking alcohol even if one doesn't have "problems in this area." Many, many reasons- general health being a really good one. I agree. I've never been a drinker and in fact haven't had alcohol is probably 10 years and it always galls me when people jump to the conclusion that I'm a recovering alcoholic... like a sane person wouldn't just decide to not drink or something. : But I also agree that insinuating that the OOFTA tattoo is some kind of reminder to them both of what appears to be an isolated incident is a little silly (which gelly already said). I'd go with more romantic and sentimental than cautionary as to why they both got the same tattoo in the same spot. The fact that they did get this together signals to me that they feel they are together forever, which is so sweet to me and makes me a little giddy with happiness for both of them. Everyone wants and deserves that special someone and I'm glad Adam seems to have found his... especially given that one of his fears was that he'd end up alone.

Also, just wanted to report that I didn't win a ticket to the M&G that the SF station 99.7Now is having on Friday when Adam visits their station But on the bright side, over the almost 3 hours I listened, the DJ's berted over him a whole lot. They mentioned how great he was on AI (and dissed KA), and his vocal talent, and the hype around his new music, and other nice things. All in a very complimentary, not-at-all snarky tone. They mentioned how big a response they got from fans when they mentioned that he was coming, and about his very enthusiastic fanbase. They also mentioned a woman at the station who was a huge fan, and joked about locking her out of the studio on Friday. Anyway, it was fun to hear. This is I think the closest SF has to a Top40 station, but it leans heavily urban/rhythmic, and I don't remember them ever playing Adam's other music. It will be interesting to see if they play BTIKM after he visits.
