I love all the raving reviews of Adam's performance on Leno. Love them!
I am also slightly amused at a few of the "negative" reviews I have read about BTIKM. (From the "I'm too cool for school" types. You know what I mean.) They cannot criticize the vocals. No way. No how. So, now, they are saying that Adam is such a phenomenal vocalist that he is wasting his talent on such a trite pop song like BTIKM. It's a little like the criticism I read about the EMAs, where the "reviewer" said TSMGO didn't work because it was to easy a song for Adam. He didn't have to strain to hit the notes, and therefore, the delivery lacked emotion. WTF???
Haters gonna hate, I know. But, if they are gonna hate him cuz he is too good, I'll take that with a smile.

I think this is it, you nailed it Gelly. The place and the reminder and that both have it makes absolute sense. That's an interesting theory, but it seems odd that they wouldn't abbreviate "of" along with the rest of the words. I agree, interesting theory, but I think Adam is too much the romantic for the tattoo to mean that, though it could be something related to decisions made after the infamous night. |

At first, something made me think the whole thing was going to be somewhat understated — maybe it was the fact that this was the first time we were hearing the slick pop jam in a live setting. But then Adam hauled out his powerhouse vocals toward the end, and the audience's knickers collectively dropped to the floor.
Who knows — maybe people will actually start downloading this song now?

Don't kill me. OOFTA. Out OF The Alcohol. They have it in a place where they can constantly see it. The hand that takes the glass. Enough for them to see it but not very visible. Hit them both hard after the incident. Reminder. I would like to clarify that because I think a tattooed reminder of a drunken night on ones hand would imply that person must have a drinking problem, does not say anything about what the original poster feels. I was not intending to imply anything about what you thought, only what I thought. I disagree with your theory about what the tattoo may mean and what it would imply if your theory was correct--nothing more than that. I am sorry if you thought it putting words in your mouth or was anything more than just an opposing view.  |

Interesting. As of now, these are the releases in Adam's week of 3/20: www.hitsdailydouble.com/sales/sales_ur.cgiHe has a good chance of hitting #1 on Billboard the week of his release, unless Madonna for instance releases in the same week. The bigger question though is how much he is going to sell in the first week. That's going to be heavily dependent on how well his song/songs are doing on radio at that time. Also on the promo and the buzz around the release. But total shot in the dark, I would venture to guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 100,000. Anyone else care to join my little shot-in-the-dark guessing game? [pokes head back in] I guess that Adam will sell more than Casey James. ;D |
