This just touched me so much. I think he was reaching to his brow, I think his hand was shaking. I don't think he made it shake for affect. It seemed like such a vulnerable moment to me. Excitement, adrenaline, "opening night" jitters, NEW BAND. He managed all that VERY well and gave us a stellar rendition. I am so happy to read the good reviews. I hope all his hard work pays off for him. I'm buying a few more downloads on his birthday. My charity this year is going to be HIM. I noticed his hand shaking too.  (as I'm kneeling, on the floor, smack in front of the TV!) Guess we don't think he gets nervous, but he does (he said so himself). But when I saw his hand shake, I started to cry.  I was soo happy for him. There is no turning back for him. Everyone is going to know who he is after this. I still can't believe there are people who say 'Adam who?" I'm always like REALLY?! are you hiding under a rock? Guess thats the difference between those that have followed him from the begining and the rest of the world, haha :D |

Anyone who has ever seen Adam perform live and has been lucky enough to be close enough for him to make eye contact knows he makes it with multiple members of the audience throughout his performance. IMO, standing there singing directly to Sauli, though schmoopy and romantic, would be rather unprofessional and not a compelling performance for the rest of the audience. He is a consummate professional and performer and no way he would sit there and sing to one member of the audience while excluding the others. Sorry to burst any bubbles, but try to image the reality of that. Also, I am so effing blown away by his courage to fight this lawsuit. IMO, he's not only standing up for himself, he is standing up for every struggling performer who gets preyed upon by opportunistic sleazebags. Hey, Susie, 'sokay--you're sure not raining on MY parade--and ITA with you! ALTHOUGH I WILL SAY, THE FIRST TIME I SAW HIM ON GNT IN CB, HE DID SING AN ENTIRE SECTION OF SLEEPWALKER STRAIGHT TO ME--OUR EYES LOCKED AND IT WAS FUCKIN MAGIC--REALLY, JUST ASK GLITTERGMA! I think Anthro even got it on video! Must've been my threadbare Bob Marley t-shirt that pulled his eyes to me! ;D And I second that YAY for fighting the sleazebags! That's my favorite piece of news today so far! |
