Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't being a hot mess a good thing? It's usually used as a compliment by someone who is stunned by your edgy, hot appearance. I put it in the same category as 'bless your heart' in reference to meaning something other than what the words alone convey.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't being a hot mess a good thing? It's usually used as a compliment by someone who is stunned by your edgy, hot appearance. I put it in the same category as 'bless your heart' in reference to meaning something other than what the words alone convey. You may be right but I always thought it meant somebody was really awful. |

I've not heard it used as a good thing, like 'bless your heart' it's kind of a condescending but funny (but not super unkind) way to say somebody's look is a total fail. Sometimes I think it's used when the person is hot anyways, but just totally unkempt (or making a mess of themselves socially) at the moment. |

Ok, I am interested in the evolution of Sauli. I was obliviously living in a bleak Adamless world for the beginning of their relationship and am curious if things were the same for those of you who have been there from the start. When I first started investigating him, seeing the Disney pics and some of him following Adam out of restaurants etc. I thought he was nice looking but nothing really special. But, with time he has become stunning. And it's not that he is "done up" now cause obviously this is a natural beauty. Is it just because I am falling in love with him now? What was the fan reaction to him when he first entered the picture? Was he a "heart throb" in Finland? Can't all be that he is in love and more confident--look at those eyes and facial structure! Quoting myself. Did I cross the ("news and information") line by questioning if Sauli has always been this cute to you guys? Is there a place that has past posts regarding the beginning of their relationship that makes this question unnecessarily ill-informed? Thought it was about as simple as talking about how hot today's picture of him is, or about speculating about his modeling career. I have been politely led to believe it crosses the "daily news and information" line. As he becomes more and more prominent in Adam's life I guess I need to know where is that line drawn? |

Someone mentioned hand trembling... Adam's hand trembled when he wanted to 'keep my mind off the edge', so to speak... If you look closely, his hand had similar gesture when he sang this verse, more than once. I don't believe he was nervous. Interpreting the overwhelmed emotion of the verse, maybe. Not nervous. Sort of like the way he sang the word 'nervous' on Mad World. JMO.  |
