www.hollywoodreporter.com/idol-worship/adam-lambert-single-leno-tonight-show-282888"The slim and surprisingly makeup-light singer was in fine form for the vocally-challenging song, which stretches the upper limits of even Lambert's super-high register. Clearly well-rehearsed and no doubt eager to get the promotional cycle started -- Trespassing, which THR named one of its 12 most anticipated albums of 2012, is due out on March 20 -- Lambert didn't fudge a note and looked smashing in the process, complete with new spikier hair 'do." Just gotta squee a little more before going to bed. Adam hit it out of the park. And on the first performance of the song. Who else can do that??? I have to quote Simon on this one: The problem is.... nobody can top that now! Agree! And get that Grammy list ready, plz universe. Next time Adam is debuting his music on Leno or elsewhere I want the intro to be Grammy winning singer & songwriter... Adam is f*cking AWESOME performer. No wonder Neil's GF was impressed. ;D Whatever they did with the arrangement, it was spot on. I have a good feeling about this band set-up; Kevin is a wonderful addition. VERY interesting; a new dimention to Adam's music.

I am still up and just finished watching Leno with my husband. He loved everything, loved the drums, thought the song sounded cooler live, loved the look and the vibe of the new band, loved having a female bass player, thought the band looks much "cooler and more hip" this time around...
I am still full of adrenaline after seeing Adam live on Leno all these hours later, going to try to make myself go to sleep so I won't be a total zombie at work tomorrow.
Can't wait to see what he does tomorrow on Ellen, how he is dressed, how he changes things up...

The Prophet Blog compares Adam's performance to Lana Del Rey's.. www.theprophetblog.net/adam-lambert-slays-better-than-i-know-myself-live-on-leno"The super duper handsome Adam Lambert appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night to perform his new single “Better Than I Know Myself” for the first time ever. With Adam having been off of the promo circuit for a while now, I had somewhat forgotten what an astonishing singer he is. Glambert nailed the song as good –if not, better– than the studio version, effortlessly switching keys, hitting high notes, and power belting with the ease of a seasoned pro. If there’s a male pop vocalist out there better than Adam Lambert right now, than I have yet to hear him." More... ETA oops a little late :
