Sensationalism at its best. Why bother checking facts or printing retractions when the "juicy" stuff is what matters in the end? That edge makes Adam exciting and a bit unpredictable..rockn'roll. Rolling Stone is so contrary.. Adam's new look GQ, old magazine a year ago, where is Adam the rock and roll guy. They just can't decide who they want Adam to be. In the mean time Adam seems to love the art of surprise and keeping us off balance. How can you not love a guy who keeps you panting for more. He is keeping people talking, and that is so smart. He constantly changes and that will keep him relevant and interesting for the long term. He will not be pigeon-holed and is not one dimensional. Who would want him trying to keep out glamming his glam to keep people interested and talking? Much better this way!

Since it seems that there are too many pictures of Sauli in the News threads, we've created a separate thread in Sauli Central where you can post as many of those pics as you like. www.adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=sauli&action=display&thread=670Also, another thing. So far we have posted a notification when we have added a new translation to Sauli Central (in addition to tweeting about it in twitter). Since it seems that people don't want to have Sauli-related news in the News thread, maybe it would be better that we don't do that? All the new translations are listed in the Updates thread in SC, so you can find them there, anyway. I definitely appreciate the link to any new translations in Sauli Central. I spend most of my time here in the News thread, but I'm always eager for a new Sauli translation, and the link lets me know when one is ready so I don't have to keep checking. Thank you so much for all you do!

I love Sauli because he makes Adam happy. Period. He seems like a lovely person and I enjoy reading his blog but I don't stan him. When I see pictures posted, I don't mind because they remind me of Adam and their relationship, so they make me smile. But, I guess I agree with Susie, that on a day when we have major Adam flail going on, I'd rather focus on that. But I usually don't mind a few pictures of Sauli :-) He's Adam's love. Yeah, I think this is what Susie was saying. Sauli is fine, and I like him, and enjoy what he does for Adam, but when there's major Adam news and flailing going on, it would be nice to share the flail with others, instead of having it stifled by continuing to go back to Sauli. I'm invoking ATOP Rule #4, bb. There's tons of Adam stuff today. The OOFTA was noticed in the past 24 hours, so it counts as news.
Just scroll over anything that makes you eyeroll. Its ok.

Dean Piper is the celebrity and entertainment columnist for the Sunday Mirror. It's a tabloid and has a large readership. His profile says: Dean is a regular celebrity expert on BBC News 24, Sky News and Radio Five Live for high profile showbiz stories as well as working at various BBC Radio stations all over the country. Thanks! And apparently also an Adam fan. Intelligent man. Yup...he's the guy who did the cute "quiff"? piece/interview with Adam after they went out together for dinner...I'll bet 4MS has that in an archive somewhere!

I've been meaning to make this comment for a while now:
I love how Adam has developed a set of journalists who are basically Glamberts. He totally won them over, and now it shows in the way they cover him in serious publications. This includes Lyndsey from yahoo, but also Shirley from The Hollywood Reporter, Dean Piper, Byron Cooke, even Ellen who keeps inviting him back, and I'm sure there are others I can't think of right now. These are his supporters now, and that's such a precious thing to have. I'm very proud of him.

Life IS good but as an Adambertian above all, I believe we are now owed many Adam pics? Pretty Adam, fierce Adam, thoughtful Adam - bring em on Ah, Bowie fan I see Ysabelle, Welcome and yes Adam is my reason for reason and I would change my life to better suit his mood lol. (Probably Random pic offerings from my small file: And another: (And while I'm at it - I like Lyndsey but 'spackled-on guyliner'?? Really? F*ck you Lynds - save your style commentary for your Idol faves who desperately need it.)

I don't get where media gets that Adam is a loose canon. Besides the AMA shit the boy is almost a FREAKIN BOYSCOUT. Drunken Finland fights aside. Srsly the media is whack lol Well, not "loose cannon" in the way the media usually means it. This author, I believe, is coming from a business, branding and marketing angle. The model he used of star, cash cow, loose cannon and dog was not developed for Idol or for Adam. He is just applying it to Idol and using Adam as an example of the concept of loose cannon..... a commodity which has great potential to have great impact and earn lots, but also a commodity that is so unique and out of the box that it is unpredictable, and will need special handling to make the best success. As a business model, it makes sense to me. Yes, that's how I interpreted it too. He wasn't creating the category names, just using the existing business terms and seeing where idols would fit in the box in terms of market/sales - not personal life.
