Guys.. I think Toby Knapp said something that we're going to flail tonight after 7pm. Did we know what it is? was it like the first time this DC radio's going to play BTIKM? I am not sure, he seems to be live blogging the American Idol. Did his show played BTIKM earlier? So bummed! I watched last night, but was also recording it...and my DVR shut off halfway through the song!! NO!!!! I was so looking forward to watching it over and over and over and over ... again in HD on a 65 inch screen. :( You too? Same thing happened to me and to other people at work I specifically asked to tune in. Also, my sister's did the same thing. I was so pissed so I ran it back and took out my camera and recorded the entire performance just so I could download it to my tv and at least have something to watch. Mine also ran over 1 minute at the end.  Thanks ladies for finding a way to download the performance even after it had been taken down. Now I have a good version and TY soo much. *and sorry to my puppies who I thought had stepped on the remote and turned it off. I'm sorry I was so mad at you*  |

cassie, I see you are online. I have a question that is sort of Adam related as it pertains to calling radio stations and although it is not about music, it is about voice. I listen to the local Kissfm station during my commute and when they get call ins (mostly from females) the voices sound so young. Occasionally there is someone who is clearly older but I can not pinpoint why I think one voice is older and one younger. My question is ... do people's voices coarsen over time and is that what I am hearing or is it pitch? I have thought about calling the stations here but I just know that it would be clear that I am not really their demographic even if I said collegey kinds of things. I have a deep voice but I have always had one, sang tenor in my teens. I know I sounded funny today in the car trying to talk like a twenty something. LOL.
Any thoughts?
