I hope that Angelina would not mind if I shared with you her thoughts about the Leno performance. Everyone is asking her, it seems. She said,
"I've just read a few very interesting comments sent to me about Adam's performance last night - how he seemed tense and nervous and how he held on to the mike stand for dear life, how he was tentative at the start but later got into the song, how peeps wanted him to be more 'dressed up,' etc.
"WTF!!! What I saw - on the vid at least, and it was confirmed for me by my friend who was in the audience - was a terrific live performance by an artist who has upped his own game, who got into the mood of the song even before he started to sing and whose vocal was astonishing - even better than I'd heard in Canada! BB has clearly done some work!!! The voice is lighter and more fluid, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised - his voice will continue to improve until he hits his stride in his mid-thirties - IF he ever hits it - knowing Adam a little now, he'd probably surprise us all, defy the nature of mere mortals, and just continue to improve as he gets older!"

I really appreciate Angelina's comments. I wasn't seeing the tense and nervous either. I was tense and nervous but I didn't see it in Adam. ;D So Adam dresses more casually for the daytime Ellen show. He always dresses appropriately for the occasion. However, I am still reeling from his beautifully exquisite and impeccable Leno look. Something very wonderful about his whole look and aura last night. So perfect for the debut of his new journey in song. It brought me to tears when the curtains opened and I saw him. |
