Don't kill me. OOFTA. Out OF The Alcohol. They have it in a place where they can constantly see it. The hand that takes the glass. Enough for them to see it but not very visible. Hit them both hard after the incident. Reminder. I think this is it, you nailed it Gelly. The place and the reminder and that both have it makes absolute sense. Amazing, gelly! Makes perfect sense to me, too.

That's an interesting theory, but it seems odd that they wouldn't abbreviate "of" along with the rest of the words.

I've lost track of the number of times I've watched Adam's first live TV BTIKM. I'm struck by his ability to get into character and act out the song. I'm convinced the slight hand tremble was a way to show vulnerability. I, also, think that his tight grip on the mic stand was deliberate, perhaps as a way to convey desperation. I think you're right. He was using the tremble and the grip to add to the emotion of the song. I also think that the nerves of the night added to the 'realness' of all he did. The nerves fit the song and added to (rather than detracted from) the performance. I feel a need to go into a long post about all that he has to be nervous about with this performance. I'll just suffice it to say, we know him so well..... just think about it. We know nerves played a part. And to my mind, they totally enhanced what he had planned for this performance.

I am glad to see Kevin in the band line up. And the backing vocals sounded great. But, just so you know, it wasn't just Kevin. There was a backing track as well. So what you are hearing in the harmonies is Kevin and Adam. I thought the harmonies were great!!! In the bridge I think it was only Adam & Kevin, but in other parts there were more harmonies that had to be part of the backing track. It all sounded great to me! Cassie - I read a post elsewhere by another singer who thought he sounded flat in a couple of "crucial places" but I thought he was pretty much pitch perfect! What did you hear? Interesting to note that with the key changed to a tone lower, his top note in the final wail is the same note as his highest note in the recorded version! (E flat) (hope that makes sense! :D)

Totally post-hoing here, but I have an OT question.
For this era, I really want to get a good, but moderately priced headset. I've heard Bose mentioned a lot. I'm willing to pay...but I'm not rich. Any recommendations?

I thought about it lol, and I think IF what I say is right (silly I know) that they play with the actual "meaning" of OOFTA. (It is an expression used to convey surprise, exhaustion, or a bunch of other feelings)Don't mind me , as I already said I'm silly :

www.directlyrics.com/adam-lambert-rocks-the-tonight-show-news.htmlAdam Lambert Rocks 'The Tonight Show' Elegantly suited up for the occasion, Adam Lambert showed up on NBC's 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' on Tuesday (January 17th) to deliver the first televised performance (and first 'live' ever actually) of his new single "Better Than I Know Myself", the lead offering from Lambert's upcoming second album "Trespassing", in stores on March 20th. The Dr. Luke-produced and Claude Kelly-penned pop/rock midtempo is pure excellence. And this first live showing was killer! Adam sang 'BTIKM' flawlessly, taking time to show off his signature 'high-notes' that he and us fans like to hear. "Better Than I Know Myself" will officially impact on US radios on January 31st, but can be purchased NOW on all digital platforms. more..
