If the anthology of Adam teaches us nothing it is that he can adjust his singing style to suit many genres of music and is good and channelling the spirit of a song along with the lyrics. #IMHO Totally agree! And he sure hit the mark with this song tonight!

Adam was incredible. To MY ears he absolutely killed the last part of the song.
And I'm stunned that he did it so perfectly with SO MUCH pressure. The ending with no music was perfect perfect perfect. I couldn't even think that he would do it , in the first performance. Yesterday was a crusial moment for the rest of his career.
But I also think although he was amazing he can do 100 times better the rest of the song.
Today IMO he's going to be even better.

Don't kill me.
OOFTA. Out OF The Alcohol.
They have it in a place where they can constantly see it. The hand that takes the glass. Enough for them to see it but not very visible. Hit them both hard after the incident. Reminder.

I've lost track of the number of times I've watched Adam's first live TV BTIKM.
I'm struck by his ability to get into character and act out the song.
I'm convinced the slight hand tremble was a way to show vulnerability.
I, also, think that his tight grip on the mic stand was deliberate, perhaps as a way to convey desperation.

Don't kill me. OOFTA. Out OF The Alcohol. Could very well be. Hey....did anyone else notice how giddy with excitement Sherri seemed to be at the end of the clip? She's holding her hands with sheer excitement on her face when she looks at Adam. ... very spiff.
