marionm Funny! Machines beeping are really annoying! Our smoke alarm is so sensitive and loud, I jump about a foot when it goes off.

This is a bit OT and old news as we were discussing the AMAs last week. I wasn't impressed with much of the show, but I thought this performance was riveting. Dove Cameron won Best New Artist. She is a Disney kid who describes herself as queer and a feminist. The song has been played a lot on the radio here. happy, I like that Dove Cameron video, too. And yeah, she has that smokey type voice that I like. It's good to hear a young female voice that isn't all shrieky and thin, like most of them are, at least to me. And the song is provocative and sensual. Adam could never have done a male-focused song like this in 2009, even without any kissing. We've come a long way. Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!
