Ott but ever since Germany fell Out of the soccer world Cup Tournament i've been rooting for Marokko (don't ask ne why...random i know) and they Just won against Portugal! I am SO EXCITED!!! Quite the underdog story!! I'm cheering on Morocco too (or Marokko to you)! Does anyone think that Adam is the least bit interested in the World Cup? Probably even less than in former years. Oliver posted about boycotting the world cup due to the human rights conflicts with Qatar. Their ambassador said in an official interview on German prime time Sports TV, that gays are mentally ill and need treatment. Homosexual fans are safe though, but do have to behave. Qatar is the host of the tournament in name of the FIFA. The FIFA always says it stands in for human rights, fairness, equality and so on. But suddenly Qatar prohibited any rainbows in the stadium and the FIFA plays along. They also suddenly told the teams - just when the tournament started - that the captains aren’t allowed to wear the „1 Love“ band. The captains of several European teams have worn that for years. It‘s clear, when it comes to money, the FIFA doesn’t stand in for human rights. I know, it’s more complicated, with laws in the country ect. But no, I think Adam will hardly follow that tournament.

I cant Imagine Adam being interested and Not Just because of the delecacy of this spesific world Cup. I haven't watched a single Game but IT's hard to Not hear of the results, If IT's the Lunch Table at Work, social Media or the News...😅

THE SUNADAM WAS SIGHT FOR SORE EYES ADAM LAMBERT has revealed the real reason he looked so emotional at the Platinum Jubilee party in the summer alongside Queen. The group were the first on stage at the star-studded concert, and the monarch even featured in a short film with Paddington Bear, tapping her teaspoon in time to the band’s hit We Will Rock You. Adam Lambert has spoken about what caused his eyes to water during the Platinum Jubilee
But Adam, who appeared choked up, told how his watering eyes were actually caused by . . . hay fever. He said: “That was definitely a surreal experience – it was wild. “It was such an honour to honour the Queen, with Queen. “So much planning and energy went into that performance. We had to get it right. “The only problem was I was suffering from hay fever. This is Hyde Park in the middle of the summer. “I was sneezing, my eyes were watering. People were like: ‘He’s so emotional.’ But actually it was allergies.” Adam has performed with Roger Taylor and Brian May for a decade, cementing a partnership that he says has been “a saving grace” for him. The former American Idol star, whose latest album High Drama is available to pre-order this week, said: “Coming off a talent show, there’s an eye roll collectively. “But Queen came along at the right time, and it was a blessing. “It felt like I’m supposed to be doing this.”

Me too!!! I literally whooped when they won today. On to France. For me, I think a large part of their appeal is they are such underdogs. They don't have a Mbappe, Messi, or Ronaldo and they play a primarily defensive game. It is amazing to watch them shut down strong scoring teams like Spain and Portugal. One of the stories today mentioned that a player accepted no pay, giving his money to team support members and his village. Compare that to Ronaldo who has joined a Saudi league for US$211m/year. Professional sport is so ridiculously rich, it just invites the kind of corruption which is rife in FIFA. But then the underdog comes along and your heart is back in it.

HA! Maybe it is just me but I have no interest in the World Cup. Saw some results on the news and was happy for the US when they did well. But other than that, don't care who wins nor know who should win. But I'm pretty much the same with the SB but do attend some watch gatherings (just to mingle and eat) cause others are interested and talking about it. There are lots of people who only pay attention cause it is being reported and is a big deal to many. Sorta hard to miss the excitement, lol.
Happy the female basketball player was released from Russia, tho.

The World Cup is a big competition. Same goes for Eurovision. No interest for me - including US football unless I hold a watching party. Then I go into cooking mode.
