So Oliver got a Christmas parcel from home with lots of liquorice. Everytime I‘m in Denmark I buy their pepper liquorice candy and salty liquorice. I also really enjoy their liquorice icecream! We also get a lot of it here in Germany, but less than in Denmark. Looks like the US is still in need of good liquorice. 😉 I remember that it had been something special, when I presented a package to my host family in Arizona.

Nothing personal, Nightowl, but licorice is so gross lol I love it! At least most of it. There are so many different kinds and tastes, that most people find at least some that they like. At least in this part of the world. The liquorice that I saw in the US (in 1996) had nothing in common with what I call „real liquorice“. But I believe that you can buy some of the „real stuff“ from Northern Europe there by now? |
