@kathryn17 A lot of them are single material, in all honesty. While it isn't a single's album (it's a very cohesive piece of work), a lot of the songs on their would do VERY well as singles. Cookoo and Shady, two of the ones I've heard, will smash.

I just have to say that I'm loving these album previews to Journalists, music critics, etc. This, in my opinion, will help build buzz as well as critical acclaim. And I'm just happy that the label seems to be proud, and to really believe in this album.
I really couldn't be happier right now...Well I could be if I heard the album too, lol.

I agree with you on keeping stuff in check. I am tryin, I AM TRYIN! But it's been such a draught for so long, it feels good to have some confirmation that I am stanning a talented mo-fo. Checking myself too. His first album received a lot of hype and it wasn't album of the year so I hesitate to let myself dream that big. But I'd rather there be hype than none at all so it's all good in my world. And I agree 100% with the bolded part. |

@ninjaspies I did! A bit mid-tempo, but the chorus is very dubstep and Adam's vocals are extremely powerful. Really, really great song.

Haven't heard but BTIKM and OOL, but, from all I am reading from those who have heard more, I DO BELIEVE it will be the album of 2012. I am envisioning a Adele 21, Carol King Tapestry, Beatles Sgt Pepper kind of game changing album. Adam can do it. Who else better? This is one time I am not going to try to rein in my expectations. I am going to enjoy the ride thoroughly, because I trust this Era 2 Adam so much. Just like I can always ease back and relax listening to his vocals, because I KNOW he will deliver. |
