Some days (well, many days, actually) in Adam fandom it feels like the whole damn thing is being orchestrated solely to maximize our happiness. Like I can just imagine some invisible force out there cracking its knuckles and murmuring to itself: "hmmmm, let's see, what can I add to that to make them totally lose their shit? Oooh, I know! Let's have Adam make M-F-QUEEN!!! look lucky to have HIM!". Or, "oh, fuck it, why not, I'll just have the entire UK spontaneously combust in real time (with fans watching every joyful minute, natch) over the music-changing brilliance of the new album, while Adorable Adam sits innocently on Ellen being adorable about celery like he didn't just shift a few continents with the force of his awesome, or wail the shit out of a hit new single that somehow still constitutes a "soft opening".". And then said force grows a smug little smile and says to itself, "Damn, I'm fuckin gooood!" I mean seriously, we couldn't write this shit if we tried!!!
Unspeakably excited about trespassing twitter buzz.
Speaking of those tweets, I'm a class-A mooch, so I just wanted to thank Wal and everyone else for bring all the goodies over, and also the folks bring the Ellen vids, and while I'm at it, "Zia and Min" too, for their by now famous contributions to this fandom. Y'all all rock.
Diff topic: there've been lots of tweets from DJs set to interview Adam in the coming days asking for question suggestions. I just want to remind everyone that we have a thread for gathering Q's for Adam here at Atop, and if anyone wants to tweet any of those questions out to anyone interviewing Adam they should, or just look there for inspiration. I'm not on twitter, for example, so I can't tweet anything directly, but if I think of anything I want to ask Adam I just generally put it there the hopes that someone who does tweet will want to know the same thing. And there are a lot of great questions there from lots of people.
