So in the UK we're still waiting for reviews from 4Music, Digital Spy, and OMG! Yahoo. Sounds like a productive listening session!!! Can anyone from the UK tell us... which of media outlets matter? Being honest...when I hear "I liked FYE, but this is better" kind of makes me want to put an asterisk next to their opinion. I don't know if they were fan boys/girls prior or not. |

I don't quite understand the need for separate threads today but I'm using the 50 most recent posts and it's helping me keep things manageable.  Perhaps you don't remember, but we have always had separate concert threads. The Moscow thread was 100+ pages and if mixed in with the news would have been 150+ pages. Also, much more fun to read later. Remember, please, that any complaints or suggestions should go into the suggestion thread. Let's not discuss the thread on the thread. |

to gather all the info that is coming from various places.
We had Leno, Ellen AND the UK press.
Two threads IMO for today were needed.

Ugh. Typical Perez: "ugly brawl", "sans scratches". Did he even listen to what Adam said about the incident? Perez is an oxymoron -- a bully who claims to be against violence. I will now go back to pretending that Perez doesn't exist. (This is why I was hoping the Finland incident wouldn't be brought up on Ellen. The discussion had died down in the media, and now it is being brought up all over again. I wanted the focus to be on Adam and his music, not on his arrest. Hopefully viewers will focus more on the fab performance and less on the interview.) But it is being brought up in a good way (except for Perez.) His interview is perfect. I think Adam making his own statement is wonderful and was needed. And Perez does have the Ellen video posted. You're probably right. I just hate to see negative stuff rehashed when the focus should be on the positive (e.g. Adam's great new music). But if the arrest needed to be addressed, then Adam, as always, handled it beautifully. Thanks for your perspective -- your POV is better than mine. |

Don't like the 2 threads either. I've been out all day and really don't have the time to read both. I understand why I guess, but the last 50 posts thing doesn't help when you are starting from the first post. It's all good, I still love this place. Heading to the Ellen thread now. I hope videos are on the first page. , I felt the same way until I saw the suggestion to open two tabs. I had been going back and forth and trying to remember what page I had last been on in each thread. With two tabs, it's soooo easy. I actually like the separate threads now. I always have a post-it stuck onto the computer and put the page number on, then cross out and add as pages go on. Then when I go back I see where I left off !! |

I'm just gonna check in & say hi!  A huge THANK YOU to all the ninjas here who have posted vids & downloads for both Leno & Ellen! You guys are amazing.  I have to get a little work done today & then catch up on the threads but it's all good. I don't mind sitting at my computer reading about Adam all day & night. Yeah! That's not a bad life at all! ;D |
