Thanks, rihannsu, for that iTunes update - exciting! and it will just keep going up as the show is viewed across the time zones, I bet. Every time Adam performs, I'm amazed AGAIN at what he can do, how he can go to those big notes over and over, and take them everywhere he wants them to go. I loved the additional guitar this time and the DRUMS. Wow. (It was interesting to me that Ellen said she was told to ask about Finland. I took that to mean by Adam's "people." In addition to Adam's usual honesty, enthusiasm, etc., I really appreciated Ellen's talent during that interview, too - how she effortlessly lightens things up at just the right time with her humor. Adam in love is a very, very beautiful thing to see.) She has producers who prepare her questions. So it could have been by Adam's people, but more likeley it was by her "prep" people who told her that. If it was Adam's people I don't think she would have sounded tentative about if he wanted to talk about it. I dunno, just my opinion. Oh! Okay, that makes more sense - thank you. I liked that she said, basically, talk about what you want to talk about:)

Which one is a bigger show (more popular), Leno or Ellen? Anybody has a clue? I know Leno is the biggest nighttime talk show with ratings of around 3 million. I looked at a couple of sites and it looks like Ellen has an audience of 2.0-2.4 million. So, not as big as the Tonight Show, but still good.

I loved both this and Leno performances so much. I hope there will be even better quality video to download at some point because this is definitely a keeper. I seem to have lot of opposing feelings about things today so I don't really know if I liked that he was asked about Finland or not. On the other hand I would just like it to be in the past already and not talked about anymore. On the other hand I have been sad that some news gave such a wrong picture about it and I'm happy that Adam gets the opportunity to tell what actually happened in a program that reaches lot more people than just fans. And he is such a good speaker.

And he is such a good speaker. With an answer as eloquent as this one, I see no negatives to him being asked. Especially by someone who is as supportive of him as Ellen. The sad part is that I'll bet not one gossip site will pick up today's quote. Zero! :

Late night TV has a different audience I think than daytime talk shows so it's all good. Covering different markets. It is also why we see different presentation from Adam. His look is always tailored toward the audience. He usually does the more casual rocker look for the daytime shows whereas for late night he has a more night out type look.
