Just want to say thanks to valilac, wal and anyone else who posted a video. So happy that I can watch Adam's performance 10 times before the show actually airs here in LA at 4 pm. I'll just agree with all the superlatives that have already been posted -- Adam sounded terrific, maybe even better than on the Tonight Show. Not only he is a fantastic singer, but the consistency of his performances is also amazing. And I love the fact that he never sings a song the same way twice. And kudos to the band -- they sound fantastic (and, on a shallow note, they look really cool and hip, too).

Better Than I Know Myself - Adam LambertThursday, January 19, 2012 11:02 AM Climbing after first Ellen reports. Hi, rihannsu - would you kindly explain to me how to find the iTunes numbers up to 1000 - I only know how to find the top 200 songs and can't seem to figure out how to access beyond that. Thanks so much!

popdust.com/2012/01/19/adam-lambert-ellen-degeneres-finland-arrest/ADAM LAMBERT ALSO HAS STUPID, DRUNKEN MOMENTSPosted by Emily Exton on 01/19/2012 at 11:36 Adam Lambert has left any embarrassing behaviors behind in 2012, in exchange for big performances on mature late-night staples to promote the upcoming release of Trespassing. Of course when commoners like ourselves guzzle too much wine on an empty stomach after work, we only risk ridicule from our local subway platform dwellers who take pleasure in seeing us in a heated presidential debate with a turnstile. Yet when you’re an American Idol finalist with a highly anticipated album to promote, there can never be enough questions to follow the words “drunken bar fight.” more...

Thanks everyone who posted the videos!! Thought I'd have to wait until the show aired in my timezone. (silly me - I should have known the fandom waits for NOTHING!!) I LOVED THIS PERFORMANCE!! The sound mix was better than Leno, and when you think he could never top his vocals - well..he does!! DAMN!! ...and the interview...dying of presh!! "Hi Baby"!! OMG!! DED. His answer to to the Finland incident was perfect. How could anyone not fall in love with him??

AAAARGH! I have to get ready for work, but I can't stop watching/listening.
I imagine what it might be like to tune into Ellen, not really knowing much about this Adam Lambert character except that he was on Idol some time back. First reaction to him on stage...... DAMN! That is one good looking man! Tall, dark, and gorgeous. Classy dresser with a now edge.
Second reaction.... he can sing. Like the song. Love the pounding drums/bass. Catchy.
Third reaction..... SHIT!!!! THIS GUY CAN SANG!!! Can't think of another performer I have seen on TV in recent years who can sing like that. WHERE HAS THIS GUY BEEN????
Fourth reaction..... I KNOW I haven't heard anyone sing like that in.... well, forever. AMAZING!
Fifth reaction..... going on iTunes to download this mutha right now!
And that is before they get to hear Adam say words of love and honesty and responsibility. Could Ellen have a better guest?
All this is written from a purely objective point of view, of course.

I looked at a couple of sites and it looks like Ellen has an audience of 2.0-2.4 million. So, not as big as the Tonight Show, but still good. However!! I think Ellen has the demogrpahic that would go right to their computer and DL music! Yes! Ellen's core target is women 25-54. Lots of music buyers in that demo.

I am amazed that a gossip site picked up the positive sound bites! Yay!! Anyone want to guess on if Perez will do the same?! Shouldn't this be in the news thread too. Now the 2 threads are going to get confusing!
