From flowerofice: This GIF makes it look like Sauli is squirnming in his seat, when in reality, if you watch the whole interview, Adam has already referred to Sauli twice where he is smiling and happy. This last shot is kind of a surprise for Sauli. Unexpected! Don't people move around in their seats just naturally?

I looked at a couple of sites and it looks like Ellen has an audience of 2.0-2.4 million. So, not as big as the Tonight Show, but still good. Not really comparable because demographics would be different. It is not just audience size that matters but what audience is being reached. Late night TV has a different audience I think than daytime talk shows so it's all good. Covering different markets. It is also why we see different presentation from Adam. His look is always tailored toward the audience. He usually does the more casual rocker look for the daytime shows whereas for late night he has a more night out type look. Yes, you're right, of course. I hadn't found any demographic information yet when I posted. It looks like the Tonight Show's audience skews older and more male than Ellen' audience (probably not a big surprise). I'm guessing that Adam has historically gotten a bigger sales hit from appearances on Ellen than the Tonight Show, but others here can probably confirm whether that is true. ETA: After 2 stellar performances of BTIKM this week, I hope the music buyers come out in force and keep pushing its Itunes ranking up!

Historically, there usually is no bump from a Leno appearance (for anyone.) So the fact that Adam got one is kind of amazing! There usually is a small bump from Ellen.

That makes the move on Itunes look even more impressive.

You have to admit that Adam on health food looks young and fresh. I'm glad he realizes what booze can do to a person.
