What happens next for a film that is positively received and positively reviewed after this showing at the Sundance Festival?
Do most go to things like Netflix, or made for tv movies, or picked up for larger production? No real clue as to what the future hopes are for the films being shown. Do not know the system?
Have to hope the film garners great respect ...cross fingers for media-- showcasing the film as a "one of the best/good one" at the festival!
Sundance is a platform for independent movies to be seen by different buyers for distribution. Coda, last year’s Oscar winner started at Sundance then was picked up by Apple TV for distribution. It also starred Emilia Jones who is in Fairyland. Having Sofia Coppola as producer is a big plus.
