On the home page of clear channel radio stations under celebrity buzz there is an article about Adam on Ellen and the Finnish incident. The good thing, there is also a link to his performance! www.q102.com/main.html

There has been so much press this week, that I can't remember which one it is, but either a radio station or music blog, tweeted a link to either leno or ellen, talking about Adam's awesome falsetto. I'm sure Adam must have seen it, and spoke up about his awesome abilities!

-he smoked for a minute in his early 20s. -vocal warmups, esp. with btikm cos it's a tough song -Ellen was 100% live, he does not lip sync -He watched the Ellen performance back -More things coming up this year with Queen. LOL... I read this week someone said the reason why Adam/RCA chosed BTIKM as the first single coz it's easy song to sing. I think our cassie said it's not an easy song to sing and now Adam himself said it's a tough song for him to sing and he actually needs to do a vocal warm up. We just need to remember Adam always make every song look like easy to sing ;D ;D ;D

I have just started the thread and GLAD someone you brought this over. I would like to listen too and make up my own mind about the interview while also appreciating what others think about it. Thanks!

Just got in and had to tell you!! Alice Radio in the SF Bay just played BTIKM. This time it had Adam introducing the song and he says lots of words! That was the first time I heard Adam's intro and it's awesome. Then the male DJ came on and said that Adam was in the studio earlier and that all the photos are on the website except for the one of him and Adam as HE WASN'T DONE MAKING OUT WITH IT YET!!! I believe he also said Adam was so dreamy. What a fun surprise!!!

It was pretty interesting that he mentioned again that he has been with a woman. Must have happened sometime post Idol. Hmm...... Wish it had been me.

I loved his twitter vocal class today. It's a new form of education: twitter ed. I can just see it now. Phoenix University (online only, I think) starts mini-courses using twitter. :D We'll be able to get twit-plomas.
Regarding the vocal difficult of BTIKM, I think it is not the song that is so difficult, it's his performance of it that is challenging. Didn't we hear a demo of this song by another singer? It can still be the same words and melody, but Adam always puts his own spin on it. Certainly, on one would say the ROF is a difficult song to sing (Johnny Cash was not a vocal powerhouse). But the way Adam sings it, it becomes as tricky as many an opera aria.
Bridgeymah, I totally agree about how easy it looks when he sings. No gasping, etc. Someone here (Cassie?) wrote a while back that the strain and stress of singing high is what enamors/impresses a lot of people with certain singers and performances, even in opera.
Adamme, I'm pretty sure Adam warms up before any performance. But maybe he does something special or extra for this song. I don't know any musicians who would go on stage cold. (I don't even like to start a rehearsal without warming up.)
