That Blick interview was great, but I have to disagree with Adam about this: Performing may be the only thing he wanted to do with his life, for which we should all be grateful, but it absolutely isn't the case that he's "good at nothing but performing." With his intelligence (both intellectual and emotional), personality and natural charisma, he could have done any number of things, had he been interested in doing so. As he's shown as a reality show mentor and judge, he'd have been an awesome teacher or corporate trainer (he was offered a $50k per year corporate trainer role by the makeup company he worked for - can't remember which one it was - which was a lot of money for an early-20s person back then, or even today). Or a great salesman (again, as proven by his stint doing and selling makeup), or Director of Development for a charity. If he'd had an interest in law, he would have been a great trial attorney. Maybe a designer, whether fashion or interior. Or an event planner. The list is endless. He's one of those people who would have found success no matter what career he chose, I genuinely believe that. He has that special spark. Looks like he's having a wonderful birthday, which he richly deserves! I can't say I love The View, but I'm delighted to see some U.S. promo starting to crop up. I can't help but suspect he mentioned wanting to duet with Kelly Clarkson because he knew he was booked for that show as well, and that they were going to do a song. I hope that comes to pass - it's way past time for the two of them to sing together, and I think they'd get a great press cycle out of it if it happened. I so totally agree that Adam could have been anything he wanted. I think he would have made a great lawyer! Not so sure about Kelly. He also said he would love to sing at the superbowl and fans jumped to conclusions. I love Kelly's voice, really powerful, just not a great fan of country music, although some is OK. I'm listening to the Voyager radio show with the 2 hours of Adam's music. The announcer just spoke about Fairyland. I also don't love the view. I don't care for anyone they now have on the panel. I will definitely DVR it so I can watch it back AS MANY times as I want.

Saw the post the other day about how many people view the site and don't post and thought, yep that's me. I will make a point to contribute more. Those who post regularly are gems and I appreciate the work so much as I'm here checking every day. So thank you!
Watching the roll-out for his new album is a joy. Seeing how the industry has changed from the focus on one single pushed for months to a cornucopia of music from the album makes such a difference in keeping the visibility out there. His team is doing a great job!

His team is doing a great job! I love the visibility. I don't think I have seen this much promo for Adam in quite awhile. Although, there might have been much more had not the pandemic interceded. Ordinary World is now playing on the Voyager Music Adam 2 hours. YEAH!!!! Just a random, out-there comment. When I hear Adam speak, he seems so soft-spoken, yet when he sings, he is a powerhouse! I almost feel like it is a different person speaking than singing. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just a little nuts. If you take, Kelly, for example, she belts out those songs, but she also speaks loudly. Watch her TV show!

I so totally agree that Adam could have been anything he wanted. I think he would have made a great lawyer! Not so sure about Kelly. He also said he would love to sing at the superbowl and fans jumped to conclusions. This is true, but for what it's worth, Adam said he'd like to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, and we don't yet know who will be doing that this year. That announcement should come sometime early February. I'm not saying Adam will be doing it, but we don't yet know for sure he isn't. As for Kelly, the main reason it popped into my head was because offhand I don't recall him mentioning her previously when asked with whom he'd like to collaborate...just as I don't remember him ever mentioning wanting to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl (or anywhere else) before. It just seemed so random, which is why people started to speculate it "meant something." Which, very possibly, it didn't, but I can see why fans latched onto it. I discounted it completely at first, because at that time it didn't seem he would be all that visible around the time of the Super Bowl, but the fact he'll be well into the early days of an album promo cycle makes it somewhat less unlikely. As for speculation in general...why not? It's something to talk about. As long as people recognize it's speculation and not fact, and don't get overly invested in whatever-it-is coming to pass, it seems harmless.

Thanks for posting the vid of the fireman spin! LOL! I knew there had to be many out there who have never seen it.
Also, I hope that the discussion about people here who lurk but ever post will encourage more of them to actively participate. The more the merrier! Adam's career is a fascinating one, for sure.
