I started keeping track of twitter followers after someone asked for #s before Leno taping Tuesday and just thought I'd update, as it's the end of the week and LOTS of GREAT promo has gone down since then.

= gained 3,757 followers in 3.5 days
Looks like sales AND twitter followers (compared to daily increases < promo) have experienced bumps from promo!
I'm really not a numbers person, but am fascinated as to how Gaga, for instance, acquired a billion followers (I don't know her#, lol, but it's a LOT!)
I'd never used twitter until Adam, never observed a singer's career this closely from the beginning before, and I just find the social media aspect--which didn't exist back in
mythe day--of building a career fascinating.
I wonder about things like...
When/Why does # of followers go BOOM!
Is it in direct correlation to sales#s? radio play? touring? Do the #s increase exponentially at some point? (Will #s go Cuckoo>Cuckoo?)
How long did it take Gaga to go from) to a billion?
(I can't even remember for sure how long it took Adam to get from 0 to his first million--which I think he reached in J-F of 2011? CRS-but I'll find out.)
Anyway, not going to keep posting this, just wanted to share now in case anyone else is interested! I am going to keep track on my "Adam" calendar, though, if anyone is ever interested!
BTW--yesterday? OMG. What a great day! The reviews, the interviews--AMAZING! ;D The whole freakin' WEEK has been UNBELIEVABLE! Era2 is gonna kill me if I don't pace myself! But oh what a way to go!
