Welcome to new members kamar and bertiebotts. It's so cool to have such an international crowd here. I was wondering kamar, are tourists still coming to Syria? I've wanted to go there for a while and thought perhaps this summer but I'm hearing it's too dangerous. Adam has so many extraordinary personality traits and his tact and diplomacy is one of his best ones. His responses to stoopid interview questions - like about the "older glamberts" - are always charming and show his appreciation of his entire fan base. Knowing that he counts on us and is thankful for the support makes all the texting, calling, writing, doing multiple boring surveys and polls etc. to radio stations all worthwhile. I'll do anything to get him into the Top 40! ;D BTW, for Vancouver listeners, neither of our Top 40 stations (Virgin/The Beat) have added Adam's new single or played it despite many requests. The last DJ I spoke to at Virgin radio didn't even seem to know the song but I'm hopeful it will get added by the end of the month. Let's all keep requesting in the meantime. My strategy is to vary the daily request be alternating texting, writing, tweeting and phoning and targeting different DJs. You don't want to wear our your welcome, after all.

Since it seems like a slow day, I'd better get some more sleep. Not that it's early, it's already 1.30 am but comparing today with the other nights that I slept at 3 or 4 am it's early haha! Good night!

I have a question since we were discussing Megaupload. I need a place to safely store about 150 Gigs of files - mainly all my PowerPoint lectures because if they ever got destroyed or lost, it would be decades of my life down the tubes. I was 1 day away from signing up with Megaupload because they had the best rates for storage and wondered if there's a place with similar good prices. I can't afford fees like $40 a month which seems to be a standard rate. What happened to all the folks who had purchased lifetime storage with Megaupload? I'd be furious if I had a paid membership and no access to my files.

Melisende I would just get an external hardrive. They come from anywhere from 100-500 Gigs. and cost about $60-$150. I use one for all my photos. And you can take them anywhere!

I just watched a very interesting piece on Tom Brady (QB New England) whose scouting reports out of college listed him as ordinary. He was a 6th round draft pick. What the scouting reports did not (could not) show was his heart, his drive, his quiet determination. He was an enigma. But, once given the opportunity to perform live and under pressure, this quality was evident. It took 3 or 4 years for it to become obvious. The coaches and team players wouldn't let him go as they knew that "something" was there. And, TB feels to this day that he still has to work hard to disprove the doubters. Sounds like certain man we all love and support. I feel he has a good heart too. And, yes, I'm one of those >40% older woman who enjoys sports. OT, I'm going to Gillette Stadium tomorrow to watch TB play in the AFC Championship game. I love my Pats something fierce. I even have a cat named Brady (after Tom). Go Pats! Hmmm, how to bring this back to Adam. Well, I hope Adam has as successful a career as Tom Brady has had.

I'd be furious if I had a paid membership and no access to my files. There on two options -- online virtual storage and an external hard drive. You can now buy a 1 T or 2 T portable drive for a very low price. Here are a few choices: www.google.com/products/catalog?q=!+T+hard+drive&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=11225454477482701818&sa=X&ei=bU4bT_C7IqH00gH786jWCw&ved=0CGwQ8wIwBQ (A good place to buy hardware is Newegg.com -- great prices and low shipping costs) And here is a review of several online storage options: online-storage-service-review.toptenreviews.com/Personally I prefer having my work on my own drive.

i go to quite a few concerts throughuot the year and find the band members are always introduced.
maybe adam wont do anything special for his 30th, i found turning 30 quite depressing ,40 didnt bother me,niether did 50,but i can say 60 will bother me later this year!!!!!!

If people had done some prior research into MU they wouldn't be surprised today. I would never have given them files to store if I didn't have them also somewhere else.

I'd be furious if I had a paid membership and no access to my files. There are other sites, like MediaFire, etc., but to be on the safe side, I'd back them up on thumb drives and put in a safe deposit box. Here's a 128 GB flash drive for $149, which would be almost what you need. www.amazon.com/dp/B004TPPWUA/ref=asc_df_B004TPPWUA1869617?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B004TPPWUAYou can get lower-capacity ones for much less if you can break your files up. It might be the cheaper, safer way to go in case servers crash or there is some kind of takeover or shut down like we saw this week.
