I have a quick minute to check Atop and what do I see but Adam coming out of Whole Foods again. Guys, we should get him cloth or some sort of re-useable shopping bags for his birthday!
peace&love

There are no trees at the Hollywood one.

As much as I want Adam to be a superstar, I dread the quest for tickets, especially in larger halls. Never had bad tickets for GNT, but one was because of who I knew at the venue and one because of Stubhub, the others were fair seats, 25 rows back but good view. At Hard Rock in Ft. L, even though seat was on 21 rows back, the facility was horrible. We've already pretty much decided it's going to be StubHub all the way this year. You get spoiled once you get up close.

It is obviously his favorite place to go grocery shopping. On the TV series, Top Chef, the contestants always are taken to Whole Foods to do their shopping. Whole Foods pays a bucket of money to be mentioned "casually, off-handedly" on the program ("Each of you will have $300 to spend at Whole Foods for supplies") , and as they show contestants entering or leaving the store, you always see the store's name prominently in the shot. Adam could do the same, right?

Next week the NZ station is going to have a three hour AL special starting two hours earlier than today (the one hour programme just finished) in celebration of Adam's 30th birthday. Listener's may phone in their birthday wishes and songs, too! Aww, that's so sweet!! Hard to believe next weekend is his bday weekend. Funny that he still hasn't named a charity. I wonder if that whole situation last year was a little overwhelming for him. It was awesome and amazing, but wow, how do you even process something like that? And lol, he's been signing those pictures for a year and STILL hasn't caught up. I think the fact that he is going to be performing in Austria on his birthday shows how committed he is to launching this new era. We all know, he loves his bday and considers it very significant, but this year, the focus seems to be capitalizing on opportunities. Or maybe he has a bit of "The 30s," as I used to call it. Sometimes big bdays, even if you're handling them fine, trigger a lot of confusing emotions. Maybe he's not quite wrapped his brain around this one yet. Especially if you aren't drinking! But I think it's the timing, the career, the promotion. Adam seems to have his priorities in order.

I didn't think that "soft release" had anything to do with how hard rock or easy-listening a song was, or even who the audience market was. I thought it referred to releasing a song without any big promotional push. No flooding the media with stories, no showing up on 10 different TV shows within the same few days, no marching bands, etc. Just releasing the music, placing perhaps a few ads on music sites, and waiting to see if there would be a groundswell of interest in the music. Planting a seed and letting it grow on its own.
Do I have this all wrong?
