Hi Q3, just wondering about this: "Then later in the week, Adam will head off to Austria for an industry showcase performance and what is starting to look like a whirlwind trip through Europe with stops in Austria, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, and maybe the UK." My understanding about the QSnowcase, although I might have really missed something, is that it is just one concert in Austria. However radio listeners from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Finland (haven't heard about Germany or Sweden, but maybe it's the same?) can win tickets from their local stations to be able to attend. At least that's what I thought some Finnish fans were saying elsewhere. Unless you are thinking of something else? I'm pretty confused as well. Do we know if the Swedish Snowcase is an actual concert? Does that mean the band is going too, or is it just Adam and Kevin? I am somewhat confused by the question -- ETA: I get it. ETA: I only have two performances as of now -- 1/29/12 Austria Showcase, 2/5/12 Sweden Acoustic Concert. A showcase is an industry event that usually has an audience. This is what Austria will be. As far as I know, this is the only showcase event scheduled for the EU Promo tour. Sweden is a radio promo event. We only have some details about this promo trip, but it will almost certainly be visits to radio stations and maybe a TV appearance. Similar to what Adam did for FYE. And acoustic concert in Sweden (just keys?) We have no idea who will be in Europe with Adam, but he needs musicians for Austria -- Kevin or someone else on key and I expect bass and/or drums. This is an important event, and he will be performing. Once that is over, Adam will probably do the rest on his own with the exception of Sweden (see below) -- unless there is another performance that is not yet announced. That said, Adam is capable of an acoustic performing in so many ways -- just with a guitar, or just with a keyboardist, or with someone on percussion. So no way to guess what he will do. The big question I have is what will he perform in Austria -- BTIKM for sure, but he should do 4 or 5 songs -- he could do OOL again, and will surely do WWFM. But what about the other song or two? Will we get to hear another new song? My money is on no new songs but I was wrong about Canada when he surprised us will OOL. So what do you think? ETA: There are radio interviews for Benelux -- and he is supposed to be stopping in Belgium. (not confirmed).

Radio NRJ Finland is having a contest where you can win tickets to Adam's acoustic gig in Stockholm in the beginning of February, so he will be performing there too. What is the date, since Shoshanna just confirmed the UK on Feb 2nd? ETA: NVM, I just saw Q3's post that says the 5th for Sweden. Hmmm, the time in the UK seems short (although I guess if he is only in London he doesn't need that much time, right?) And from one of his interviews, it sounds like he will be back in LA by the 12th. He mentioned wanting to go to the Grammys.

Adam is going to have exclusive acoustic gig (free) in Stockholm the 5th Feb according to this. You can try to win tickets here: www.mixmegapol.se/musik/mix-unplugged since it's going to be in Mix Megapols office and not in a big concert hall. ETA: You're welcome Q3

URGH! I am so far behind I will never catch up!!
I posted the Sweden acoustic concert info -- but can't find it. I believe that he will be there on 2/5/12 and it is one a page 1 somewhere.
Here is what we know....
1/29 - Austria 1/30 1/31 2/1 2/2 - UK 2/3 2/4 2/5 - Sweden
He will be going to Germany -- possibly on 1/30-31.
He is also going to some other countries -- but no confirmation about where.
I have been buried all week so I may have missed something.
ETA: Thanks Aurora!! (At least I remembered the right date!)

CapriHakeem Capri Hakeem Dark Days & Bright Nights: REVIEW: Adam Lambert - Trespassing (First Listen)!... caprihakeem.blogspot.com/2012/01/review-adam-lambert-trespassing-first.html?spref=tw1 minute ago Dark Days & Bright NightsSunday, 22 January 2012 REVIEW: Adam Lambert - Trespassing (First Listen)! ... But as the songs were being played, I wrote down words such as 'growly', 'filthy', catchy', 'Queen', 'Jacko-esque', 'devastating', 'clapping, 'epic' and 'Sam Sparro. The best of the tracks? At this stage I couldn't say, but one song that had the room straighten up was 'Cuckoo'. An electro-pop tune that despite being packed with all manner of production wizardry, remains an effortless number with a chorus whose hooks quickly dig in deep. Its co-penned by Bonnie McKee, who wrote the best songs on Katy Perry's Teenage Dreams and half of Britney Spear's Femme Fatale, which says it all really. As soon as I heard the titled track 'Trespassing' I wrote down the band 'Queen'. Produced by the popular Pharrell Williams, it combines funky bass with guitars and hand claps. "I was walking for some time when I came across this line," Adam belts with a growly vocal on the chorus. I'm assuming this song will be a single at some point and if it isn't there will b trouble. 'Shady' is one sexy song. "Take me underground/ Deep below the street" he sings over a raunchy bass guitar riff that sounds like it was recorded in a sex club but in a trendy sex club that has chandeliers dangling from the ceiling and has champagne on their drinks menu as opposed to a dirty, dark and grimey one in the back of a road. If Adam Lambert was a song, it would be this. Its in your face and exactly why certain people (in America, mostly) sometimes get flustered about him. 'Shady' features Nile Rogers and Sam Sparro but don't let that put you off, because the song is amazing. After those songs, we were then told that those tracks were just some of the album's 'light' tracks. I'm guessing there's a happy/light, sad/dark sort of structure to the album. Then we was told the next track was Adam's most 'most personal' track on the album so I kind of gathered it would be a sad, dark type of song. 'Outlaws Of Love' is a massive ballad with big drums and delicate chimes that shows of just how wide his vocal range is. Then we heard one of the tracks I have been hearing a lot about, 'Broken Silence' which is co-written by Sam Sparro, and its about struggling to communicate with your partner. "I cant say all the little things that I wanna tell you right now." he says, before we heard a bizarre but instantly addictive noise that's we can only compare to a fire extinguisher being let off. I originally likened it to Britney's 'Inside Out', but on reflection its a pretty loose comparison. Strangely enough, the only song that feels out of place on Trespassing so far is the lead single, 'Better Than I know Myself'. Maybe its because that there's more of that sound to come and we just haven't heard it yet, or it might end up being one of those songs that serves as a 'bridge' between his old album and the new one. Either way, there's possibly 4 more new songs come from the album, so fingers crossed the UK will see this time round how talented this guy is. Looks like this guy is a wanker because this is almost word for word the Digital Spy review by Ron Copsey posted a few days ago.
