It's where they had all the PR earlier in the month. A very nice hotel in LA that I could easily drive to for lunch if I felt like getting dressed and going out in the rain! ;D Thanks, mys*&@^#r, are you going to? ;D No! Definitely not. Cleaning out a closet in between posts on here!

Is this true? madonnasworldcom.blogspot.com/2009/11/madonna-sends-adam-lambert-flowers.htmlMADONNA SENDS ADAM LAMBERT flowers AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS: Adam Lambert shocked America by simulating oral sex on stage.Madonna sent him a bouquet of roses after the show. Old news, from AMA's but I never heard about it. Apparently it was reported in a one liner in the Miami Herald paper after Adam's AMA performance There was a program on late last night that was a documentary of Madonna's tour, very interesting, and that ponytail - GaGa so copied that from Madonna! Guess she will be in the spotlight soon.

Don't take this TOO seriously, but I agree with Moser!! I was watching AI and thinking the exact same thing...especially with that college guy. I actually did not think he would even make it...he was not terrible but definitely nothing special....sheesh. When I heard them go on and on I was wondering what they were smoking, frankly. It does not look like they learned much from last season. seriously....less and less really good singers will even try out if this is the standard they are looking for..... I was reading an article in the Houston Chronicle last week and one of the music critics said that one of the things that desperately needed to happen this year w/Idol was for the judges to actually judge and give constructive criticism. I wish I could find the link; it was a good article. This? www.chron.com/life/article/Delete-these-tunes-from-Idol-play-list-2587943.phpThis season, the best thing the judges can do is actually judge It's pretty sad when Randy Jackson comes off like the voice of reason. They all need to be more honest, more coherent and a little meaner. Lopez has the cred to really hone in on what it takes to be a superstar. Tyler has the catalog to really offer some hefty, sage advice. And Jackson - we just wish he'd stop saying "dawg."
We're always going to miss Simon Cowell (though The X Factor did him no favors). But smarter, sharper criticism might make it hurt a little less.

Did you see the girl who sang "Feeling Good"? Step away from the Adam song, sweetie. She had no range at all, yet the judges acted as if they'd just stumbled across the Find of the Century. I don't know if I'll be able to watch this year if they keep that up. It was so frustrating last year when they praised performances that were just plain bad. *cough*Durbin!*cough* I did. Not a good rendition of that song at all and her voice wasn't great either! These judges are just......well, let's just say I miss Paula and Simon.

After watching that other guy's audition I had to cleanse my brain. So, here's where some of us first met Adam. What a class act!!! Awww...that made me smile and cry at the same time.

First login since a while - but putting a bit toe carefully into the water:
Just a quick answer to aralid and then I have one question too:
Re: Germany promotional visits in 2010:
If my recollection is correct, Adam's visits last time were Bravo-tv, Munich, swf3 Baden-Baden, hr3 Frankfurt and Energy NRJ, Berlin. There was no promotional activity in Hamburg, I believe. But this time N-Joy and hr3 were the first out of the gate to play BTIKM, and seeing how much Adam tries to focus his promotion on those stations where he feels he is being received well, maybe Hamburg is this time on the list.
My assumption/guess is that from Zell am See he heads straight to Munich (only about 1.5 hour drive) and meets up with Bravo-tv folks on 1/30/12 They have over the last 2 years been his most consistent supporter. They had at least 20 reports or competitions or other events around and about Adam over the 2 years, always supportive. Interestingly, initially, prior to his first visit they were not positive (copied loads of crap from some UK boulevard journal) and their initial prepared interview with him garnered them the famous gay, gay, yay, yay tweet from Adam.
But that tweet and their impression from that visit shook them up and they completely changed their tone and became very supportive ever since.
Change in topic - this is about an Irish/English group: How much is this group One Direction, who is also releasing an album in US and UK on 3/20/12 a competition to Adam's slot #1 on charts? Clearly in UK they are selling like hotcakes and they seem to be touring the US in Feb-March in preparation of the album release over here.
Any insights - anybody know about them? They also come from reality TV (X-factor) and are with Columbia. While it probably does not matter, whether they get a #1 in UK, where Adam is not known that much anyways, here in the US, I hope Adam gets that #1 chart position for the week of the 3/20/12 release date.
Just wondering what the thoughts are. Thanks
Otherwise, I have now seen that I have quite a few messages in my inbox, so I'll be there for a little while and then need to get back to RL. Will check back here tonight.

This was a rumor that was wrong. Adam said that not one celebrity or singer reached out to him after the AMAs - Sad :( Yes, sad, but also indicative of the mind set of other entertainers 1) too much into themselves to support other artists that are new, not like Adam does 2) probably really really envious of his talent 3) and probably really really scared shitless that someone that good would be out singing, out performing, out shining, and just so much better! There aren't many pop singers that even have good voices, much less great ones. Adam Rules! eta: I am not trying to diss pop artists, but there are many people with good voices singing in community choirs, kareoke, and in their showers, too.
