I haven't watched AI this season. Have zero interest in it, and am fed up with the whole thing. However, I got a Google alert about it because the article mentioned Adam, and I gotta agree with Moser's response.

"Elvis and The Beatles are in trouble.
Because according to the judges on a Sunday’s special episode of “American Idol,” the best male voice ever heard is Kyle Crews, a 19-year-old frat boy from California.
I kid you not. Judge Steven Tyler actually said that: “The best male voice we’ve heard yet.”
And fellow judge Randy Jackson? Same reaction: “Oh my god.”
Of course, it’s hard to say whether that reaches the level of Creighton Fracker of Queens, N.Y., a contestant who Tyler on Thursday called “genius. The most amazing thing I’ve ever seen.”
So you think the “Idol” judges this year are over-reaching with their praise?
I mean, what will they say about the next singer – “The best voice anyone has ever heard in the history of man?” “It’s the voice of God himself?”
At very least, all of you Adam Lambert fans out there should be offended."
I listened/watched this guy's audition and he was not outstanding. Pleasant, rather nasal voice. Didn't do much with it. But, what hit me even harder was the difference between how he presented himself in the audition and the way that Adam did. Adam was such a total pro, even before he walked in. He had been thru many an audition, and knew how to present himself with calm confidence, with respect, and with maturity.
Once I said to Angelina that I knew Adam was special from the first notes out of his mouth... "Mama." She agreed but said that she recognized it even earlier. When he walked in the room she could identify him as a seasoned performer.
Maybe America likes to root for the college frat boy who is all excited and blown away being in front of J Lo, and shows it in a fan boy way. (How different from Adam responding to Paula!). Maybe America wants another "plucked from obscurity" cherub looking contestant.
For me, not gonna waste my time on Idol when there is so much Adam goodness coming up. I have found MY artist of the century, thank you.
I've always hated the auditions. That's why I missed Adam's "Momma".
I generally watch at Top 36 or 24 or whatever. That's why my 1st listen to Adam was "Satisfaction".
I don't expect to find anyone good, but I never expected to find Adam either.
