I know nothing, but according to the mediabase charts here: adaminradioland.wordpress.com/it looks like they spun him 26 times last week and 29 times this week. that seems like a LOT of spins compared to where other stations are at right now and therefore looks good to me! Ohh thanks for the reality check rabbitrabbit! :D I've been looking on mediabase for KLLC and today I thought I noticed a huge gap between songs, but just checked again and I was mistaken.. ;D I guess I was hoping to hear it every few hours like some other song.. maybe a bit premature. :  I'm not a numbers person and usually refuse to worry about them, but today while I was on hold for a very long time, I started scrolling through StarPittsburgh 100.7's play list for the day. Up until 7pm, I think it was, (I picked these randomly) they had played SOMEONE LIKE YOU Adele 11 times in 19 hours, NOTHING Script 11 times, and MR KNOW IT ALL 9 times. Oh, and WWFM once. They supposedly played BTIKM but I didn't see it or hear it. On another note, I hated when Adam said in the ETCanada uncut that he still felt like an outsider in the industry, which I feel is how he is treated to a certain extent, but was thrilled when he said he was going to push on in, to trespass, anyway. I think he has staked out his place, but wants to solidify it and be accepted by his peers - something most of us want for ourselves AND for Adam. And in answer to an earlier question, I have no idea where my avi is from. |

Isn't it rare for an artist to be allowed this much control on their 2nd album? I always thought that executive producers were the ones that put in the money for a project, but Adam has said that it has given him creative control. That's my impression. Which just makes me wonder HOW did he manage to get all of this control. He is still with the same label, so did his contract change? The label probably has the right to name the producer. I hope that it is because they know that Adam has the talent and creative mind to be his own producer. Still think it is rare. Just my uneducated (about the music industry) opinion |

Where has he gotten this info that the label is disappointed with the sales? Is he just stirring the pot? And, although he thinks he is giving "us" a shout out, I think he ought to aim for more broad appeal of his listening audience if he is that excited about promoting Adam. eta: some people who are "too cool for school" will be turned off by the "Glamberts". Think Adam said he is ready for us to get a new name, way back last summer. He suggested "outlaws of Lambert" or something. We need to move past Glam since our fearless leader has. Next! |
