I gotta say I agree with you. If RCA is not happy with airplay or sales results, it's on them. I've done a lot of work in new products, and when a company introduces a product they: - First, test the product idea and the product itself before launching it to make sure it is appealing to the target market - Second, after launch, focus on building awareness so that the target knows the product is available (because, of course, awareness drives purchase) RCA chose the first single and they are responsible for getting radio play. If BTIKM isn't being accepted by PDs, why didn't RCA test it with PDs first to make sure they would play it? And if sales are a disappointment, well, lack of radio play is going to depress awareness. The sales jumps after the Tonight Show and Ellen show that if people hear the song, sales will follow. Adam and RCA tweeting about the single release isn't going to be enough to build sufficient awareness to drive sales, and that's about all BTIKM had in terms of support until just the last 2 weeks. I'm not an expert in the music business, but I'm assuming that RCA had some sort of plan for the launch of BTIKM. I can't imagine that they would invest a lot of money in creating a project like Trespassing and then not spend any money to promote it. So, maybe there is more going on than we can see so far. But if they are truly disappointed in results to date, then they only have themselves to blame. You know part of the problem I think is that they are fight the front line in both the UK and the US at the same time. I can't help but wonder if they expected the US to take care of itself or at least limp along at a decent speed so that they could then come back from the UK and hit the stations for a blitz before the album drop. The "king" has some work to do yet. As I said prior, I don't think BtIKM is any better or worse than WWFM, so there is no reason why we shouldn't expect this single do do something similar. Additionally, Toby is talking from a Top40 perspective, once the song gets a foot hold in HAC, it may have a smother climb. I agree with you. They're fighting for both UK & US. UK has started of really good by letting all those journalist a listen party. I think they should do the same with the US DJ and IMO RCA has to schedule Adam to do radio promo tour to top 5 or 6 or 10 radio stations in the US first before he leave for overseas. And then when he's back from European promo, he can pick it up by performing on the morning talk show. :-/

Soo..... I found something fun while procrastinating. Anyone who wants to listen to BTIKM on the radio, this tune-it site tracks many (but not all, I'm sure) of the stations that are playing Adam RIGHT NOW, with links to stream the stations live on air. I just listened to BTIKM on a Pennsylvania station (complete with DJ comments to check out the cover art), two california stations, an Oz station, and a South African one. tunein.com/radio/Adam-Lambert-m466581/There isn't always a station playing Adam at every moment, but if you click on the blue call numbers of the stations near the top of the first page you will see the last time they played him. If you have a little patience, the next on air play seems to come up every few minutes. Ooooh! I can listen to Fever on German radio right now! Read more: www.adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=daily&action=display&thread=678&page=29#ixzz1kQUbbQegI SO LOVE THIS SITE!!!! Found out that BTIKM made #1 on the countdown in Pittsburg from #4 the night before. Found out WWFM is on almost constantly!!!! We might be able to pick up all kinds of stuff. What a great find for a recuperating addict.

On a million drugs (I never take drugs) but I will behave myself as long as restricted activity does not involve giving up Adam! Thank you so much for your support, prayers and concern I LOVE this post! Guys - this is so much fun. You can listen to Adam played anywhere (as long as the station streams) and maybe there are pick ups we don't even know about. So glad you're home! I always felt better, after I got back home. And I've bookmarked the tunein site.

That Lyndsey Parker interview was perfect. Some new stuff mixed in with the old and I like how he went more into detail about the song writing process. Loved how he described what he was thinking, his inspirations and stuff going into this album.
Cuckoo has a groove that goes into an almost 80's hair metal chorus? I don't even know what that would sound like but WAAANT.
Trespassing sounds amazing but now I need to hear Kickin In! It sounds MJ or Prince-ish? DED.
