Thanks to all who have responded. I have now also ordered issue 10 directly, without setting up a FB account. The weird thing is that this transaction goes through and also asks for 4.50 pounds (which is $7.21 against paypal account), so the lowest level discount price that all this FB action could ever get. In addition they say shipping free, which no way in hell is going to stay. I mean I'll take it, but I think then Fault Magazine is going to pay to get this copy to me "for free". So something is not right here. I will gladly pick up the shipping costs though, so whenever they get around to sorting out their process, I'll be ok with that. Kind of strange....but thanks for the tip to try it via their web-page. Actually, the $7.21 is 1.5 pounds and is the price of the "down payment" for reserving it. The 4.5 pounds is what they are hoping they can get the price of the magazine down to, if enough people pre order. |
