Actions speak much louder than words, in my opinion. Still, Adam probably did want to give his band some public love. They seem to adore him and are committed to giving every performance all they've got in support of him. On shows like Leno/Ellen when Adam has no chance to thank them, much less introduce them, I'm always touched by his hurried effort to turn and sweep his arms towards the band members in recognition. Says so much about his character (that we already know but it's too bad more people don't.) I love Mr. Darcy, forever. Adam is so loyal and very trusting and I think he also expects the same from people that he gives his loyalty and trust to. When this trust's broken then it's broken forever. |

I'm really impressed with Kevin so much more than Monte. I would be okay with Cam not coming back, because it's like she huddled in the background. I couldn't hear her singing much (if ever), but I do expect her back. Hope we can have two keyboard players.

Thanks, Cassie, I found your post interesting. I do think the band is better. I think Kevin represents Adam's sound and thought Monte was an uncomfortable fit, even before the ugliness went down. I love watching this new band-- after my first dozen viewings where Adam has all my attention, that is. They're energetic, young and sexy-- all of them. And good at what they do. As for the interviews-- I have to say, Lindsey has my respect, after watching her in action. Although she does lack energy she carefully listens and guides the conversation along without stepping all over her subject. She gives Adam time to breathe and answer. I found Laura S's Dish of Salt interviews irritating. She seems unprofessional and unoriginal and a little creepy in her approach. Also.. I hate her coyness and the way she tries to get into adam's personal space. Hey, if she wants to know about make-up sex, just ask. Say the words. I f you're going to be rude and intrusive just be rude and intrusive, Don't dance around it like a dirty-minded priss. Be upfront about your salaciousness!  I bet Michelle Collins could have asked that same question-- and it would have been funny! Oh I so agree.. LS has always made me a tad uncomfortable....the smirk I think. Sigh, Michele Collins would have been awesome. And she would have asked the question!Lyndsey usually make me squirm a bit (Glambert, Galmerican idol)but she knows music and she really did just let him talk. He is so good at anticipating what the gist of the question is and redirecting it. So clever, so smooth. And the interviewer isn't even aware. |
