Um.... apologies for bringing numbers into this thread, by the way, and I'll try to leave the math and graphics in the numbers thread in the future. But I couldn't resist this slightly off topic article where Slate tries to figure out how much money Rebecca Black made off her 30 million youtube views for "Friday" www.slate.com/articles/business/moneybox/2011/03/black_friday.htmlthe punchline? QuestionI've just begun using Mediafire. I have the option of making the downloads instant (hotlinking) or having you go to the Mediafire page to get the download. I've disabled the hotlink because the instant ones sorta scare me, but you don't have to put up with ads. Anyone have an opinion? It's easy to change. I do not like the instant hotlink--scares me too. Some of these sites have an option to listen/watch the file and download if you want. |

Haha! Think we can break Vevo?? Crush them to the ground!!!  Don't hold your breath. Niki Minaj's "Hoe" video on Vevo set a record of 4.8 million view in 24 hours. We are a force--but that view number is  4.8 million.........wow! love the music in that song but her voice! I can't imagine watching it more than once, lol! |
