Apologies if someone already commented on this but in the Lyndsey pt 2 interview, I loved the Cuckoo strait jacket comment, when Lyndsey kind of mutters 'I didn't even think of that' and Adam gives a quick glance directly into the camera and says "I did" with a clear twinkle in his eye. Very witty and quick. When he talks music, I think he'd be great at nurturing and producing other artists down the road. When he plays w/the camera like that, I think it'd be great if he gets the opportunity to explore his other performance abilities. (Didn't his former theater teacher talk about his gift for comedy.) It's think it's hard for us all to see such a superior talent and character face such mundane, petty obstacles. One of the reasons I want this album to be a big success isn't as some sort of competition (who cares given the quality of most of the competition) but to ensure Adam has all the options and creative freedom to pursue whatever avenues appeal to him. So much talent and only so many hours in a day. ETA: ChasingEden Thank you  . Big Austen fan - soft spot for Persuasion as well. Great lit knows no gender~ Hi, Mika! Yep, I posted about that a few pages ago--was one of my favorite parts of the interview when he said "I DID!" He's living in a "straight"jacket world--and how could he not get it, even if it is just a line in a party song. And ditto on the Darcy quote...I love that character. |

It makes it impossible for you to move, to do what you want. Has there really been talk of Isaac being not the caliber of Longineau? Though they are different styled drummers, I think Isaac is a way better drummer than Longineau. I agree. I LOVE Issac as a drummer and band member. Longineau always appeared a bit aloof, but I probably read him wrong. I was actually very surprised when he hugged Adam in Atlanta after his solo in IIHY. Issac seems to be up for the fun and on target in the music. But I am not a drummer so I might be wrong. I just know I love his style more, it seems crisper to me, if I can describe drumming that way. I feel Longineau is a better all around drummer - more experience in more genres, and Adam said L could read what Adam wanted to do. However, L (as well as Monte) have their own agendas - not a bad thing. It's just that this current group seems to really be on the same wave length, ready to make a team effort to put on a great show! Kevin looks like a gem to me - great musical background, a real technical nerd, good singer, and a pretty nice guy to boot. If he and Adam click - wow! Has anyone heard who is going to Europe with Adam? They must just about be on their way by now... |

Yay, I'm finally home and I went and watched the videos. I'm really loving all of these goodies that were getting. Adam is looking just gorgeous, better then he ever has been, in my opinion. Hmm, I have a question, and I really hope it doesn't come off as me picking on Adam, cause I'm really not. I don't know if it's just me but..does Adam seem...different somehow? I don't know how to explain it exactly. When watching his old interviews from Idol, and FYE era, he seemed so...I don't know, sweet, full of youthful energy. In these interviews regarding this era, Adam just seems so much more, hmm, elegant, poised, happy, yet reserved, confident? I don't know, was just wondering if anyone else saw these differences, or is it just that it was a long few days so of course he's looking tired.  |
