"My band is 10x better than it was"......OUCH!  Must say....Lyndsey gets the BEST quotes out of Adam...that PART 2 is all sorts of awesome! I do not keep up with Monte but I did see a quote where he had really nice things to say about working with Adam so this seems like a bit of a dig. Honestly, that statement could be applicable to nearly the entire band. Tommy seems to be a wonderful guy, but "bless his heart", he's just not the best bass player. Ashley is a significant improvement. I know a lot of peeps love Cam, but I truly never thought she had the technical skills needed for Adam on keys. Zac did. But Zac was already committed to Korn. IMO, Cam was just adequate. Kevin is a much more skilled keys player and - on the backup singer side - I think his voice works far better with Adam's than Cam's. I think both Longineu and Issac are very good on drums. The advantage there is that Issac isn't getting pulled in multiple directions like Longineu, and also isn't giving off the "I've already been part of a kickass band and we're not through yet" vibe. He's more of Adam's team player versus "I'm just temping for Adam". [sigh] Monte. Whatever happened between Adam and Monte (and no I'm not talking about what the asinine Twitter world thinks happened between Adam and Monte....which still annoys the shit out of me), the one thing which cannot be denied is that Monte and Adam had very different musical visions. Adam's vision was modern pop. Monte's was rock. Neither intended to change, and therefore were incompatible. Whatever potential personality conflicts and the debacle of BFM aside, Monte could not be Adam's musical director for this era. ETA: Or what cassie said.... I left for a bit to tuck certain small people back into bed and the thread kept going! ;D |

Another ad aimed at Radio here: www.fmqb.com/chr.asp Different text, including "Digital Single up 96% this week" is that sales for the week just passed? up from the 6,000 sales last week or something? We didn't get numbers last week. I meant the week before last, sorry for the typo, I was wondering if we could extrapolate last weeks sales from taking ~6000 and increasing it by 96% |
