I have noticed on Oliver's instagrams in the shorts in the snow that it states "paid partnership with mammoth mountain" and also his name @planetusa, which is a sustainable clothing company. So, I wonder if he has actually been working virtually. I had thought in the past he could do that, he must have some kind of income. Also I feel it would be disappointing to have gone back home, finished his degree and then not had the opportunity to use it. Again, nosey minds want to know! I really get the feeling that Oliver is waiting for a green card or some kind of visa and is not allowed to leave the USA or work in the meantime. My nephew was in that position many years ago. And I think the immigration bureaucracy is even more backed up now! |

I wonder if Adam realizes he sounds just as narrow minded as those he's calling narrow minded and dumb. "Can't he see that" I agree with him that the World is becoming more and more terrifying by the day. It's up to the adults of all stripes to have a give and take conversation and meet in the middle on the issues facing our Country. Yes, I agree that my children are my responsibility, but I do pay for a public education and I expect the schools to teach the basics reading, writing, math and science. I don't expect them to teach about religion or drag queens. In my opinion those are moral issues which are up to each family to teach the way they see fit, not to be taught by public educators. I don't where people go to church or where they get their entertainment but I don't want either of them forced on my children. I'm pretty sure the majority of the electorate considers a lot more than what the LGBTQ etc or religious communities think. Our banks are failing, we basically have no Southern border, drugs are killing our kids, our economy is struggling and we are inching closer to a third world war as our enemies begin o align with China and Russia. If we can't get our Country back on a solid footing none of the rest of it will matter.

I'm not surprised Adam and his community are angry. Drag, trans, gay, etc. are the current boogeyman to detract from the real problems...they're a distraction. God forbid we do something about hungry children, about the excess of guns, etc...let's focus on drag queens and gay people instead. Don't look here to serious stuff we're ignoring, look at that group over there...it must be all THEIR fault.
It's an old, been there, done that method...they just keep finding different groups of people. Works every time.
ETA: Both of my kids went through the public school system...and no, drag queens, and CRT and whatever other bullshit was NOT on the curriculum...they learned how to read, how to write, and how to think for themselves.
