Why are we still trying to dictate what comments can be made? No one is bashing Adam for pity's sake because they comment on the OTT makeup or some outfits. And comments about ticket buying problems that QAL can't control will not disappear either. Adam is going to do what Adam does and if he likes the way he looks, he will not change it until he does sometimes. Yay. There are a lot of goofy looking looks and outfits posted here of his friends and most of us ignore them because we don't give a hoot about them or how they look, lol. We scroll when uninterested. But we care about Adam and we take the good and the bad with a few mild comments. HA. Those who disagree have no problem saying they disagree and love every look including the heavy makeup.

I think open discussion should be okay as long as it’s done respectfully. And yes, sometimes it’s a repeated topic. If so, it must be on peoples’ minds, so why not validate that? It all should help us process a few things. Besides, where would we draw the line of what’s allowed to discuss and what not? If there’s such a thing as the “positivity police” please let me/us know what the rules are? Otherwise, I think all topics should be open for discussion unless Adam gets personally and directly offended. I tend to scroll on topics that don’t interest me.

I agree, we need open discussions...and yes, some people do really care about the heavy makeup, others don't.
We've lost people from the board that wanted "positive" only...it stifles conversations. As long as people stay respectful, it's fine. We all know, Adam will do what Adam wants to do. In fact, the more he gets told fans don't like it, the more he'll make sure to do it lol.

If we follow Adam for the long haul, we'll be having make-up discussions forever. He'll always wear too much for some fans. He is going to look the way he wants to look. Most of the time he looks great to me.
I KNEW I remembered him bowling in socks! I was right! He took those boots off eventually.

Happy, was Suz526 one of the TALC ladies, or am I confused? I remember the name though. She posted lots and lots of videos in the beginning. No, I don't think she was a TALC lady. I seem to remember that her mother had died and maybe left her some money and she was using that to attend Adam's concerts around the world??? She was very gracious and generous to take and share videos! I think you are right happy. She used to take ???he had a name...Roland? the camera had a name...and she recorded virtually ever Glam Nation show! I have no idea where she is or her status, but she sure was a hero to us!! I had just moved from Ottawa to SSI and did not know anyone out here to go to those shows. I also assumed the opportunity would come again..I have kicked myself around the block more times than I can tell you that I missed those two shows...sigh...I think that is partly why I have always tried my best to get to a show of a series...especially Adam's shows. If it weren't for justkaren, I would have not see his last small tour and I am so very very grateful for her kindness and generosity. That is also why I have been so upset about this latest QAL tour. I mean really, how many more times will they be able to do these tours. |

I don't know yet if I will make this tour. There is one that is several states away that is a possibility. But I will need to wait until closer to concert time to see if I can line up a non QAL/Adam fanatic partner, lol. I have never had a problem in the past getting tickets a few months closer to concert time even when they sell-out. But I could never get a non-committed fan to buy in so early in the game. HA. But I have not panicked yet even if I need to pay a little more.

I also am amazed how graciously he deals with some of the wacky things he's asked to do during promo. I do recall once however, when they asked him to lie down on a couch and he said he wasn't going to do that. Boundaries, people.

Aren't they having a lot of political problems in Israel right now? Is it going to be safe for Adam to be there, anybody know? Do we have any Israeli fans on the board?
