Well, I doubt the press are being given early access to tracks that would be considered filler. Aren't they only hearing 5 or 6 songs? I am super excited about everything we are hearing. I just can't wait until we are hearing it from US press, as well. So far I am most excited about Trespassing and Underneath. I am a little unsure about Cuckoo. I love everything we are hearing, and I'm sure it will be great, but will it be too "clubby" for radio? The Daft Punk reference makes a little nervous  , and Lyndsey Parker specifically called it a "#1 dance hit" (or club hit, or something). I just hope Cuckoo isn't another Music Again, a song critics (and most fans) love, but one that CHR won't play. |

Well to be fair, the press hasn't heard the whole final album...there may be a song that isn't totally liked....but still...I hope the remaining song (we only are missing one now tright?) and any bonus tracks are as well reviewed...yay!

Does anyone have an idea of what kind of additional sales Adam might pick up this time around if the UK market gets on board?
Okay, I'm a cranky type, but if the US radio ejits are too bigoted to give the album a chance, I do get to the point where I'm shrugging and saying, hey, it's a big, big world out there and they get it. If he can pick up some additional sales in the UK this time around, would that potentially push the album into Platinum territory, even with FYE-equivalent US sales?

UK people, what exactly is Press Party? Part of my problem is I just have no idea who these British media people are. Are they considered an important music source? I just have absolutely no frame of reference.

Thanks Gelly and Lynneville!
I decided to take Gelly's suggestion and posted the Cologne video to the list (I was afraid the tongue diving might be too much for the uninitiated).
And I also posted the CIGC video from the Music Box since that was one I had shared with my late friend that she loved, so there was that hook into the list that might make them more willing to take a look.
I hope they react well. I promised to share the BTIKM video on Monday with them. If they react well to it I'll gift the single. Working on getting the word out -- definitely some potential Glamberts in this group.

You guys! I am flailing my arms off about the BTIKM preview! HOW CAN HE BE SO CUTE? And I need some help! A close friend of mine recently passed away  and some of her friends have started a mailing list to keep in touch. I mentioned "my favorite recording artist" yesterday and the subject of floorgasms. Now they want to see a video. What is the best video/performance with a floorgasm? I could make 6 or 8 converts here if I play my cards right. These are all ladies 40s-60s. ;D In my opininon of course. Both Voice and floorgasm. Cologne. Yes, Providence, as someone mentioned, Cologne and Club Nokia. Take your pick.  |

Thanks, PostFestumPF! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching these again. I simply can't wait for Adam to tour again. He is sexy just standing there, but live with the love of his fans screaming at his feet, he's without parallel. BRING IT ON.

Holy mother of god. That is absolutely stunning praise. THIS is what I’ve always wanted for Adam. I couldn’t care less whether or not he appeals to the masses and makes it as a mega star. And we already know his voice is unparalleled. But to have his sophomore effort critically praised for growth and confidence and style is absolute nirvana for me. (Hey, if there is any place to gush unashamedly about Adam, it's here, right? :-) ) |
