How long did it take for Adele's album to take off? Not long at all. She sold around 200K or so in the January deadzone and continued on that pace for the majority of 2011 until she finally started to drop to 100k. If only Adam was able to do something like this... :-/ |

The only way that US radio is going to come on board is to have Adam's songs requested. Seems a little "grass roots" but if Adam is out there pitching his ass off, I'm going to sit here once a day with my steaming cup of tea and make a few requests. And, when the stations ask for my age, I'm gonna LIE because as much as I want to be indignant, I know they are looking for a particular demographic. This is about getting Adam on the radio.
I think I hear someone calling my name! ;D OK, guys! It is time to do the daily requests. I would only do these once a day! And remember, if we request BTIKM, during the day from Q102, it will start off at the top of the list for the Takeover hour (AKA, Whack a Mole!) This one is really important! Maxwell told us, via twitter last week, that if you request during the day at this link, it moves the song up on the TakeOver hour. It will start at the top and get played faster. So far, it has worked like a charm! www.q102.com/main.html Scroll about mid-way down the page and you will see a small rectangular box that says REQUEST A SONG. Type in Adam Lambert and the song comes up right below. Then click on the green thumbs up & the cursor will say, "Play More.'" That gets the song played earlier on the TakeOver hour. Can someone refresh my memory regarding requests? And I am sorry, if this question has been answered again and again. But, are the stations mys*&@^#r posted ones for everyone to request from? Even if you are out of area? Radio is so aware of Idol fans requesting, it's such a double edged sword. I only want to request where it will actually be helpful. (I'm in Chicago, so nobody in my actual radio range is playing it yet)

Can someone refresh my memory regarding requests? And I am sorry, if this question has been answered again and again. But, are the stations mys*&@^#r posted ones for everyone to request from? Even if you are out of area? Radio is so aware of Idol fans requesting, it's such a double edged sword. I only want to request where it will actually be helpful. (I'm in Chicago, so nobody in my actual radio range is playing it yet) Yes, they are all syndicated stations. You can listen from anywhere. And except for the TakeOver hour game at 5:00, they should only be once a day!  |

OK another question, sorry to bug! What do you do about the zip code part? I have heard (perhaps one of those "myths" that float around) that they throw out forms with out of area zip codes. I have also heard that you should request a few songs?
HELP! I really want to help with the stations that are spinning...

You guys! I am flailing my arms off about the BTIKM preview! HOW CAN HE BE SO CUTE? And I need some help! A close friend of mine recently passed away  and some of her friends have started a mailing list to keep in touch. I mentioned "my favorite recording artist" yesterday and the subject of floorgasms. Now they want to see a video. What is the best video/performance with a floorgasm? I could make 6 or 8 converts here if I play my cards right.
