Hi, I finally decided to delurk!! I enjoy this forum so much and a big Adam fan since his AI audition. Just to let you guys know, Chumfm in Toronto did play BTYKM tonight at approx 7:15 p.m. I am doing my part to request the song and will purchase it again on his Bday!!  |

The adds? "No" But I do think it will affect the sales picking up at the time the adds pick up. :-/ Sales follow radio airplay by at least 7 days and up to 3-4 weeks -- so the delay will not effect sales, and really will have little to do with adds. The only possible negative effect will be on requests and then it is only 3 days and really prob won't be significant. I do not know why it moved but the 2/3/12 Thursday premiere is a better date for PR and VH1. So looks to me like the push was driven by promo strategy. the third is a Friday. does that make any difference? |

CELEBRATING!!!!I got in the car to go out for dinner and heard about one minute of BTIKM on the radio in the car. My first time hearing it. I admit I let out a small scream (I'm not a squealer or screamer by nature.) Then on the way home WWFM came on. I've only heard that once or twice. Another yelp!

I'm confused now. Were we planning to tweet the day before Adam's birthday ???. Don't know if this has been answered, but Adam is in Europe. We need to start his BD greetings by 5:00, Eastern Time on Saturday. And screw the Boycott! I am tweeting Adam his Happy Birthday greeting and the Retweet about buying his single! ;D |

If you want to Tweet TO Adam or anyone else, the Tweet needs to begin with @adamlambert or @adamtopia (this site's Tweeter account) or @ followed by the Twitter ID. There may be a mix-up of two different things: one is the buying of BTIKM for Adam's bday, and the other is the twitter bday wishes, with the ice cream avis. The purchases of BTIKM craazy suggested can be elongated to include the world-wide Sunday, and I think it's a good idea. The birthday wishes you may want to tweet in the day itself, in Adam's time zone. Sunday in Europe starts when it's 5pm US East coast tomorrow, or 2pm West Coast. But if we want everybody to be aboard the avi change, we should start twitting a little earlier something like "Before wishing Adam a happy bday, let's change our avis to mint-choco-chip ice cream! Please RT". I don't think we should mix the buying thing with the greetings. I feel they should be two separate things, and the buying shouldn't be directed @adamlambert, only the greetings, IMO. I had to wait forever at a pizza place but on the way there I heard WWFM then BTIKM on the way home! I squealed too  I caught it from the beginning. I'm so happy they're playing it, it seems like it took forever to hear WWFM. I can't wait to see the video! |
