I remember this, I think the shoe sole flop vid was around this time too. It's interesting, I don't think of his presence as changing much - his looks, style etc sure, - even the philosophy is there as the same but the gravitas is perhaps part of the change. Some of which comes with age, a lot with experience. So I think this would have been after the Idol tour, after the AMA controversy, and just 10ish stops in on his 113 stops over six months worldwide Glam Nation tour. |

So Adam, dressing like Kris Allen This shirt looked familiar - took me a while to realise I was there that night! I’d forgotten. It was the night after his solo show on the racecourse in SanDiego where a huge crowd of Atoppers met up (the Hilton?) I was packing to go home the next morning when lovely stardust won two tickets on the radio and gave one to me. So I missed my flight back to the U.K. - it’s all Adam’s fault.  |

I never realized Adam’s Glamnation tour was Brooke’s FIRST choreography gig. Very cool! And so thoughtful of her to post her refection on her career in choreography. Friendships…built and maintained. Me neither. Seemed he always talked about her being an experienced choregrapher but that could have been calculated. So many friends on that first tour and I bet that felt good as probably before being treated as more of the youngster. The video with Tommy brought back some bad times with friends who didn't stay friends (thinking guitar player/teacher too) - perhaps because they came into the fold to feed off of him versus shared earlier experiences. |

If that shirt was the mauve/ight purple and white one…??. It wound up in bags and bags of clothing that Adam gifted to Sutan (Raja). On that clothing haul, Sutan also got that coat Adam wore many times… but notably the EMA performance with Brian and Roger. Sutan posted a pic with all the bags etc in his home. Do you remember the designer of that coat?? My memory is the pits at times. 😆 omg …missing your flight! Adam’s 🤪 |

stampsgal . Gareth Pugh! No idea why the name has stuck…except everything about that EMA performance has stuck with me. I even liked the hairstyle, simply because he was showing that he’d moved on from the safe, Idol image and looked like a true, fearless rockstar that night. That was the most pivotal performance ever!

IT WAS BUGGING ME ...as I thought it would be a designer I would always remember.  --old age or just so much/too much trivia on Adam hanging loosely in my brain. LOL The anticipation....the performance that met EVERY EXPECTATION and beyond! |
