Amazing "Sleepwalker" from the Maxidrom Festival in Moscow, 2011! Adam soars in the stratosphere near the end! Adam was a sexy rockstar sporting eyeliner but not hiding his gorgeous eyes (one of his best features). His voice and performance style rocked. Loved the hair too and shoes that allowed him to move. HA. If he had brought that to the AMAs (instead of that convoluted routine and dancers that did not work) to introduce himself the history might have been different for him in the US. I don't think America wanted the emo rocker screamer either. Perhaps not the controversy but too far away from his Idol persona. A WaddaYaWant from me performance would have been more in line from those who watched the show but didn't follow the Idol tour. |

Tbh he needed to move past many of them and build his career. I was thinking about all the people who may have watched the AMA show who had not seen him perform. I don't think a rock star who was on vocally and with a rocker wail would have had America clutching their pearls and feigning outrage. And he would not have been off vocally while trying to keep up with a stage full of dancers and running around and up/down stairs and falling. |
