Muffin Man's explosive success is due to it being a silly children's song that lots of people know combined with Adam doing it with a spot-on Cher imitation along with givig it all his glorious camp. It's so simple to sing. There are hardly any lyrics. It's wonderfully repetitive so you can do all sorts of silly antics with it. Adam hit the bulls-eye on this one. It's just plain fun. And it sounds like some people are just now discovering Adam with this song. Whatever it takes. LOL
I'm sure Fallon is aware of the fact that it went viral. Adam's segment on TMJ is getting tons of hits.

I wish Fallon would do a proper interview with Adam. I was hoping for one when he sang on the show, but no. Fallon, like Corden, seems to like Adam. Adam has now been on two of Fallon produced shows along with Tonight. Come on Jimmy, do a sit down with Adam.............  |

It's long overdue. Kimmel had Adam on way back when but it was a performance not a sit-down. Kimmel should have him do an sit-down, too. And I give up on Colbert. Corden always had a good time with Adam when he had him on. Adam is as entertaining a guest as most others I've seen on these shows and a LOT more entertaining than many of them. Maybe Fallon will do it. . |

It is a mystery why he was never on carpoor karaoke. Would have been amazing. I remember on Adam's inst live at the beginning of the pandemic he sad Kimmel was canceled. So, at least he had been scheduled. Of course, we have no info if it would have just been a Velvet performance, or sit down. The UK has many conversations with him, even if it is only a 5 min. But, some shows do much more. I wonder how far in advance Tonight books their guests. You need to get tickets for the show pretty far in advance. Maybe it is just a timing/scheduling thing. |

So many of them made me laugh really hard - a good way to start my day! I have "Muffin Man" rolling around in my head constantly - it's a very contagious song. People discovering Adam is a wonderful thing, even if it takes a silly parody of Cher and "Believe". Even my DH loved it when I showed him the video from TMJ. He couldn't believe how much Adam sounded like Cher. Adam is so incredibly talented! He never ceases to amaze me, time and time again. |

I hopw a museum buys some of it, especially the cloak and crown. They should be someplace special. The article indicates some of the proceeds will go to charity. Ironic, I was not a particular Freddie fan (don't throw rocks, please) I was a Queen fan. But I think some of this stuff is probably music history and should be placed somewhere. |
