I am looking forward to Adam on Idol this Sunday!! Although... his bleached hair makes me a bit nervous. I have been watching Idol all season so far and I realized the other day that 9 of the top 12 contestants are from the South. Thankfully, not all of them are country artists, which I bet made it more interesting for Adam from a mentoring perspective I really like the girl from New York (We Ani) and the young guy from Hawaii (Iam Tongi) but as usual my top picks never win. Adam came the closest back then haha. I still enjoy the show and I feel entertained by young folks pursuing what they feel passionate about. I think that Ryan Seacrest is still a fan, and I have a feeling that he may be one of those who have kept pulling strings to invite Adam back on Idol. Of course, I have no idea how it all works, and Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame week seems like a perfect fit. Loved the interview btw. Short and crisp and not too repetitive.

He really seems to present these new looks when he comes on Idol. The last time (he mentored for Queen Night then performed on the finale) it was the hair extensions and exaggerated bell bottoms (many unkind comments). Then maybe a year later he performed "Believe" on The Voice finale and he looked like a movie star. HA! Fingers crossed as Ryan called him the Idol rock Icon last week when announced he would mentor.

I wanted to bring it over but couldn't figure out how as the video popped up on TV Guide. Looks wise that performance reminds me of the CMA appearance with Leona L. As Adam likes to change things up, I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for Sunday lol

Does anyone remember when Katy Perry performed as a guest on Adams season of AI? She wore a white cape with Adam’s name on the back. So wonderful!

Loved the part where Adam says (Queen) they wanted me I did not crash the party, lol. I think that is what a lot of naysayers failed to accept, he did not just show up and demand that Brian and Roger allow him to front Queen. And Freddie was not out there waiting in the wings to take his spot back from Adam if fans made a loud enough noise. Scream, get mad and post ugly comments but that was not going change what Brian and Roger and Adam wanted to do. And it was just selfish that some wanted Brian and Roger to just go away too and get off the stage. Fortunately, there were enough sane people out there willing to pay the big bucks to attend those arena and stadium shows to see QAL.

Yes, the contestants from small towns in the southern states definitely have an advantage -- especially now that the voting happens in real time. Really looking forward to seeing Adam, but I know what you mean about being slightly worried about how he will look!
