5.1.23 Adam News and Info

I, personally, was thrilled with Sunday night's performance. I LOVE Can't Stand the Rain. I was hoping for it or West Coast. I loved his looks, both as the mentor and the performance. I had seen some angst on here about Adam's hair color. I don't really understand it, to each his own. He has had that silver/gray color before and I think he looks beautiful. Adam always knows his audience. He ups the game for a performance ("I'm not known as being subtle") and the make-up etc., always seems appropriate to me depending on the situation. I thought We Ani's comment about how she couldn't look at him was hysterical. I couldn't really figure out if she was pulling his leg, or if she was just star-struck. His mentoring is always spot-on, and I really loved that the judges said all of the contestants upped their game. I think they need more Adam. I can't imagine him being a full time judge, there is no time. I don't watch idol (not since season 8, when the obvious winner did not win) but I watched it last night and was happy. I also like We Ani as the winner. She was phenomenal. Of course, we have all of the country people and they usually win out. I will probably DVR tonight's show in case they show West Coast. You never know. I was also thinking maybe they will hold it for their grand finale.
