Me too… watched most of the show… waiting as I thought it would be between the final singer and the results.  Yah think they may pull out taped West Coast for the finale week? Lol! Not likely. But can 🤞haha |

No they didn't show Adam. But I think Adam was there in spirit, lol. The 18 year old country singer (Colin) put his guitar down and I swear I saw a bit of the Adam swagger and rock style attitude when he performed (I had never seen that from him before). The first time I've seen him move some and with a little flair and confidence. Was he close to Adam? No. But I think he watched Adam's performance and decided he needed to perform with some style as well as sing if he wants to be a star too. HA.

Season eight runner-up Adam Lambert, 41, was the mentor for the night's performances and viewers said they felt he did a better job of 'helping' and 'critiquing' than the judges.  Adam returns: Adam Lambert returned to American Idol as a mentor. The judges agreed with most of his critiques of the contestants. Many viewers suggested he offered better advice than Katy, Lionel and Luke Just got done watching on the ABC app and I tend to agree the judging is lacking. No talking about a dancing queen who doesn't dance? You put your spin on Georgia, 1st time I've seen the guy - what was his spin?. I was thinking several songs must have sounded much better in studio than over the airwaves. But wow, talk about a diverse group of contestants. The voting system is fan based only, who cares what you do tonight although maybe it will make difference next week. But then it's hard because they advance so fast to pro-style arrangements, so if everything was so great at top 12 is there room for improvement or will it be a continuation of you blew me away. |
