Ok, is The Buzz just stating a rumor, or is Adam really going to be a judge on AI? We've heard this before, but it's never happened. Just wondering if I should start getting hopeful or not. Of course, he'd be a great judge. He's proved it many times on other shows. I'm not an AI watcher at all, but of course, Adam will bring me back. Which is what the producers of AI are hoping, too, if this is not just a rumor.

I am skeptical. I don't think he would have the time available to be a full time judge. Maybe he will be a "guest" judge on one or a couple of occasions. We will have to wait to see if this is true at all.

I'm not even clicking on that article...I think it's BS and clickbait.
Just my opinion, of course, but we've been down this road too many times. And I agree with Quackn, not sure when he would have the time...he seems to keep himself pretty busy.
Of course, having said all that, I welcome being proven wrong. But I think if it does ever happen, it wouldn't be announced through some obscure place like Buzz.

I agree that Buzz article is BS, but I really don't see Adam's schedule as the problem. Yes, he's busy, but anyone the show would want on the panel is likely to be busy - depending on the nature of his commitments, it's possible they could be worked around with careful scheduling. Idol isn't a full time job, even during the live rounds. But I've heard nothing about a shakeup on the judging panel, and this wouldn't be the time for that to even be under discussion anyway. I also don't know who he'd be replacing. If Katy left, I'd think they'd want another female judge. If Lionel left, they'd want another judge of color. And I can't imagine a panel without a country artist, given the voting proclivities of the Idol audience. If anything, I could see Adam as a permanent mentor, but there's no indication it's even up for discussion. So yeah, at this point I definitely vote BS.
