Fresh face for the after party. Think of the VISA billing for clothing for this week away! Lol! Wowzers …rough guessing Close to the 100,000.00 range. Two pr of pants alone…10,000.00 Each
WELL not being in that bracket… wonder re which ones might be under some type of write off. ( If interested in write offs.)
Adam has already worn some in other events! They are all pretty STUNNING pieces… If mine I would sure want to wear them again.

I should think anything he wears, originally for a performance, is a definite write off...as are all the travel costs etc. That still only equates to 20 - 30% off, but at those prices that is pretty substantial! He looked and sounded absolutely at the top of his game fantastic! eta...and a blue, red or purple carpet are all performances!!! lol

As I remember, in the US, one can write-off clothes used for performances but only if you never wear the clothes for personal use before or after. I seem to remember Adam saying in an interview that he liked to have the option of wearing his clothes whenever he wanted.

I seem to remember Adam saying in an interview that he liked to have the option of wearing his clothes whenever he wanted. This article discusses tax write-off of clothing for musicians. If an item of clothing can reasonably be worn socially, it cannot be a tax write-off! "IF", not "IS"! By the test examples in this article, Adam could probably write-off the black sequence outfit if never worn socially. But he can NOT write-off the Aqua suit even if he never wears it socially. This would be a good reason for performers to wear outlandish fancy clothing for performances! iml.esm.rochester.edu/polyphonic-archive/article/is-concert-clothing-tax-deductible/index.htmlI remember from some interview that Adam gets a clothing allowance for the QAL tours written into his contract. So QAL tour clothes become part of the tour expenses to be written-off on the Queen business taxes. Which would mean that Adam does not actually own this clothing. Adam might also be able to write-off the clothes used for major solo tours if expensed as part of the tour. Those clothes get a lot of wear & tear on tour, become part of the iconic "look" of the tour, and can be more easily justified as a tax write-off if audited. I have rarely seen Adam repurpose tour clothes, the coat from his 1st tour being the only exception that I can remember. But I suspect that the clothes for red carpets & one-off performances Adam may want to wear for other occasions and likely doesn't write them off.

I think it’s a bit different here in Canada but perhaps not… I used to be able to write a lot of stuff off when I was hairdressing, including models clothing. [which I wore myself later] but perhaps it’s just that I’m not famous enough for anybody to care about, lol.

Write-offs or no write-offs, Adam's amazing outfits are worthy every single penny.
