Yup, we've seen this whole Sam Ryder thing before. I think he stood in as Queen's singer for the Taylor Hawkins benefit (maybe?) not sure which one. He and Adam, evidently, know each other. I still don't understand why people think Roger and Brian want a mimic of Freddie. Once you have the original, why go to a copy? Unfortunatley, those that sound like someone else (Marc Martel, Sam for Freddie) or even some of the wonderful singers on Starstruck i.e., the woman imitating Adele or the guy doing Ed Sheeran, although have wonderful voices don't usually seem to make it really big. I think no one wants a mimic. The sequel is never the same as the original. Adam is an original and so was Freddie. Neither will ever be replaced. I always find it hilarious that anyone thinks they have a say about who fronts Queen other than Brian and Roger. Some have been bitc**ng since QAL came to be. Anyone other than Adam in those few unimportant eyes, lol. Sometimes I wonder if it is all about anyone but the gay guy (no matter what Freddie was). |

Is it the instagram that shows the tribute to Tina or did he say something.
All of those rich, international, A-listers - all taking videos of Adam. He is truly amazing. The sound of his voice is stunning. I can't get over the sound of the videos.

I don't know why I am so astounded by this. I have been a fan since 2009. But it seems so ironic that when he speaks, he seems so sweet and soft spoken and then he opens his mouth to sing and this comes out!!! This performance is so impressive and his look equally so.

Like a feeding frenzy… photographers yelling out his name to get his attention for pics. Very special…. just guessing … The guy in cream beside Adam …looks to his left with all the noise erupting … who is this guy! A guy who has fans who click on websites for Adam sightings lol! I started the thread from the end… so back tracking, 2 songs …and how amazing WWTLF was chosen… so fitting to dove tail into a tribute for Tina. Such a great outfit…making Adam the rock star look sleek and sexy. He was really pushing his voice….in OW ….surprised…just my opinion… maybe getting caught up in the moment. |

Well, this was one invaluable trip that Adam made to Cannes. I'll bet that among these rooms full of bona fide A-listers there were plenty who have never heard or seen him sing before. His song choices were genius. WWTLF. If he wanted to make a huge impression, he sure did, esp. with WWTLF which fit perfectly with the homage to Tina. I'm not surprised that the phones were busy recording him. He was magnificent in every way. His outfit choices were spot-on. They drew attention and gave him the edge he wanted. He takes my breath away.
